I’m pretty sure the outfielder caught it. You can hear a ball land in a glove, followed immediately by people cheering. The pitcher makes an “out signal” right at Plouffe, as he’s walking back down the first baseline, which is what people do after a pop out. He even motioned to the fielder as if to say, “nice catch” Still an awesome video.
