Devin Booker Postgame Interview says “Our team competes every night.” | Phoenix Suns

Devin, we talked today at shoot around just about the intensity of these cup games. How different did tonight feel in terms of just the competitiveness out there? Uh, I mean, our team competes every night. Um, you know, that’s been our motto this year. Um, and we’re standing on that. Um, we had a great start to the game. Um, we’re we’re defending at a high level. The ball was bouncing around and, you know, it was a roller coaster. They got back into it, but you know, we held it down. You guys got Mark Williams back. He finished with a double double tonight. Just how does his presence change the game for you guys and the level of activity that he has at the rim? Yeah, he I mean he changes everything on the floor on both ends. If he’s not grabbing offensive rebounds and putting it back, setting great screens, he’s on the other end blocking shots and being the anchor of our defense. So, you know, it’s night and day with him in the in the lineup and out the lineup. You know, I’d rather him in. And Suns, you guys are now 3 and 0 in NBA Cup play. Your final one comes on Friday against OKC. What do you want to see carry over? Uh, I want to see a win. Um, you know, that’s the best team in the NBA right now. They have it rolling, so it’ll be a good test for our team. Um, yeah, that’s that. Looking forward to it, Book. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you, Amanda. Thank you.

  1. Man we are lucky most of the squad contributes. Much different from last year and can afford having quiet nights from the starters, awesome
