When I think of Manny, I think of a future Hall of Famer. Although many don't believe in the quality of his work, he has been a consistent player for almost his entire career.
3 Silver Slugger Awards, 2 Gold Gloves, and 1 Platinum Glove.over 2,000 hits, 7-time All-Star , 367 home runs, and of those 14 Grand Slams.
The guy has been a machine of consistency, and if he stays healthy he could achieve his goal and become immortal.
He's even being considered as the captain for the World Baseball Classic; the man has made a name for himself above criticism and statistics.

  1. Who doesn’t believe in the quality of his work? He’s consistently considered one of the active HOF careers, even if people didn’t like how he was before the Padres. Barring some catastrophic injury or collapse or scandal he should get in no problem. Most players aren’t first ballot, I don’t know if he will be, but I have confidence he will be in there

  2. If he stays healthy, he could pretty reasonably get to 500 HR and 3000 hits. Those are basically automatic HOF qualifiers.

  3. He will make it there eventually. But I’m completely over his attitude. I feel like he brings everyone down if he’s slumping.
