After rewatching the penalty, I see what the refs THOUGHT they saw. It looked like, and to extent was, retaliation on the hit on Bedard. But, the hit was so hard they missed he was also playing the puck.
Dude was on my hockey team and would make his mom carry his hockey bag after practice.
