Toronto Maple Leafs Cursive Writing Challenge

little writing thing for you. We’re just going to get you to write Maple Leaves in cursive. Really? So, you’re just going to write on the whiteboard um maple leaves but in cursive if you’re able to. I don’t think I am. Cursive. I was never taught cursive. When’s the last time you read cursive? Grade six. Do I have to do this? No. I I want to see it. You do it first. Ooh. Yeah, that was a long time ago. That’s nice. That’s nice. Yeah. Are you just going to pretend like that’s yours? Okay. Yeah, that was actually smart. I should have done that. God damn. Yeah. Not you doing procedure. No. Ah, capital L is just like basically a fancy L, right? Oh, shoot. My kid’s name has an F. Both of them do. I should know the lowercase F. No, I’m not going to show that one. Well, that’s brutal. That’s all I got. That’s actually really good. I was I’m old enough where I learned this in school. I was never taught Christian, so this this is so funny. It’s not bad. It’s legible. Really? Yeah. That’s good. May the S got me bad. As you can see, thought it was okay until the S. I messed up the F, but not terrible. I’m getting to that point now where I’m the one probably the only ones that know cursive. It’s not bad, actually. You know what? For grade six, that’s pretty good. Yeah, thanks. Don’t even know what language that is. I swear I actually did really good in the handwriting thing when I was a kid. Cursive. But capital cursive is way harder. But that’s lower case. It’s kind of dusty. All right, you guys ready? Let’s see. That’s great. Did I spot right? Maple Le. No. Awesome. Hey, can make fun of me. I tried.

A for Effort. Toronto Maple Leafs players Anthony Stolarz, Oliver Ekman-Larsson, Max Domi, Matthew Knies, Steven Lorentz, Jake McCabe, Morgan Rielly, Nicolas Roy and Chris Tanev attempt to write “Maple Leafs” in cursive.

  1. I remember being drilled on handwriting in grade 6. My wrists were so sore, but my writing was amongst the most legible in the class, so it was worth it. I think it should still be taught.
