Thankful for Gronk while we had him: Appreciation post

He was a fucking beast. Best TE ever
I still think, given the stakes/situation (4th down and 10, playoff game), this is the most incredible catch I’ve ever seen except for maybe Edelman in the SB:
Imagine just being a normal ass 155lb highschool corner back and trying to bring this dude down.
I miss this man but so happy I got to watch this guy growing up!
my back hurts. He really gave everything
And this doesn’t even show his tremendous blocking.
Was Gronk the hardest guy to tackle in NFL history? Is anyone close?
He was unreal.
Imagine being able to shove a grown man to the ground with one arm that easily. *Now imagine that man is also an NFL player.* Good god
Defenses couldn’t stop him. Literally had to take his knees out.
Grateful for Gronk, but we have so many players over the years to be thankful for.
You could make a solid tackle on him and he’s still stumble and fall for 10 yards.
What a fucking legend. Best TE ever.
I haven’t seen nearly as much of Kelce, but seriously is he even close?
Anyone who compares Kelce to Gronk is insane.
Gronk is a BEAST. Him > Kelce all day.
Proudest jersey I own. Even when the Pats were the most hated team, I think others found it tough to hate Gronk

Human wrecking ball
What an absolute fucking animal. Glad he was ours.
So glad I got to watch his whole career. What a monster he was.
No one on the field could compete with Gronk. He might be as good as Brady was as far as dominance goes. Not longevity obviously. But when Gronk had the ball he couldn’t be stopped. It was amazing to watch.
Such a dude. Not to mention he could have been an all pro lineman too. The most dominant TE I’ve ever seen.
He was a monster on the field. Left nothing behind. One mode: ON
Gronk plays just as how i would assume if i heard him talk lol just alittle goofy but damn nothing but love for THE GRONK
The best TE in history. Anyone who says otherwise doesn’t know ball
Gronk bullying opponents on the field 💪🏼
I, along with many of you, will die on the hill that he is the greatest TE of all time. Tony G and Kelce can hang as pass catchers but weren’t the elite blockers he was and that’s a huge part of the position.
Gronkowski is my favourite football player of all time. Any team, any position. I don’t know if anyone will ever come close.
Pre-injury Gronk was on a different planet. So damn strong.
The most important thing to remember about Gronk was his insane matchup discrepancy, line backers were to slow to follow him and cbs were to weak to bring him down, outside of a Richard Sherman like player or an ed reed you were basically screwed.
In his heyday he looked like a man playing against boys. Never saw anything like him.
What a privilege to watch him
Four or five Colts defenders, or three Washington defenders jumping on his back, and none of them made any significant difference to his progress will always make me laugh. One of a kind Gronkie!
Don’t be mistaken, he’s one of the greatest offensive players of all time. WR1 production with the blocking of a lineman.
IMO he’s the greatest TE ever.
Young, fast Gronk was a sight to behold…
I don’t care that he didn’t build up the career stats of other tight ends. He’s the best ever to play the position.
