here on American Thanksgiving, but no days off, especially in offer number seven. Brady, uh, one more conditioning stint here for you. You mentioned on the podcast that you have a few more kinks to work out. How’d you feel out there today going up for tomorrow night? No, I feel great. You know, today was all about kind of, you know, touches and shots and and the hands a little bit and uh, you know, the last little bit’s just been strictly conditioning and and getting in game shape, but uh, I feel feel pretty freaking good right now. Nice. And how excited if you do make your return tomorrow, how excited are you to be be back in the lineup be with the guys out there on the ice? Uh what I’m most excited about is just uh enjoying what they’ve been you know establishing the last six weeks. It’s um you know the way they’re playing it’s it’s you know nothing much needs to change and I’m just you know for me my mindset is just uh coming in and just you know hopping on board for what they’ve built the last six weeks and and any way that I can bring intensity compete and uh a little emotion just to know help out. But uh they’ve done an amazing job. I give you know credit to everybody for um you know playing exactly the way that uh you know they believe in themselves to be. So, um, they play great and just looking forward to, you know, enjoying the ride. You mentioned that and what they’ve been able to build over the past six weeks. What have you seen? You’ve watched a lot of hockey from the press box. What have you seen from this group that’s encouraging going forward over this next little stretch? You know, I think it’s just finding a way. That’s the um the biggest thing I’ve seen. It’s it’s the maturity in doing that and uh um you know, maybe games where we’re not feeling our best, it’s still uh um no sacrificing everything just to get a point and uh you know, compete for two points. So, I’m really proud of the effort to compete and uh um just what they’ve been able to establish and and it’s it’s made me uh even more excited just to, you know, jump on board and and uh help any way I can. Nice. If you can encapsulate the overall process for you in this rehab process, how would you maybe describe what it’s been like for you to be sitting on the sidelines but also working your way back progressively here? Uh being hurt sucks. Um I think everybody who who’s hurt uh can attest to that. It’s it’s not fun. It’s um you know the guys are great and uh know allowing me to feel like you know still part of the group even though when I know I’m not able to you know compete and battle out there with them and and uh you know it’s it’s it was a kind of a long road but uh I’m very thankful for you know we have the best staff in the world and and uh uh get me back in you know a shape that I feel like I’m better than I was before and uh all the credit goes to you know the trainers, the strength guys. I’ll throw in the equipment guys as well. Well, they they provided very little for me the last little bit, but no, they’re still uh know great human beings and uh know got a great group here. Nice. Here in St. Louis as well, of course, your hometown. How special is it to be here for American Thanksgiving and celebrating tonight with the with the team over at your place? Yeah, I mean it’s really exciting. It’s um No, there’s a lot to be thankful for and and uh just uh you know, have the group together and uh watch some football hang out and uh I’m not really excited. just of course uh I always have this game circle on my calendar every year and uh you know it happened to work out and you know it almost made it feel like uh everything happens for a reason that uh you know you get hurt sucks but at least the you know the return dates back home in front of uh you know a lot of family and friends.
