😈 Devon Witherspoon was BALLING vs the #titans #seahawks #seattleseahawks

I thought Deon Witherspoon had his best game of the season. It did. Like it’s a typical Devin Witherspoon kind of situation where it’s not going to show up on the box score that much. He had a great edge set on a run play that led to Drake Thomas torpedoing into the back field for a tackle for loss as he does all the time. So Drake Thomas gets the stat, but Deon Witherspoon made that play. Made it possible. There was another play where Derrick Hall, I think, got his first sack. And Devin Witherspoon was the guy that was blitzing and funneled the quarterback to Dererick Hall to get that sack. And there were some great tackles on the perimeter that won’t show up as like meaningful plays, but if he doesn’t make those tackles, they could have gone for much bigger um yardage. He had a great pass breakup in the end zone. I thought his energy level was great. I thought his just speed seemed back to Devon Witherspoon level play

  6. Sadly, great player, great motor, poor fit for the Seahawks. Witherspoon is not as good at man cover as either Jobe or Woolen. He’s also not a better nickel than Emanworri. Emanworri also fits better in heavy (dime) packages.
