Thunder beat the Wolves 113 to 105 and we’re going to talk about this clutch three by Chad Homegrren. So, let’s just get to these three things. Number one, in a game that was rough, physical, and tough on rhythm, it’s about the small margins and winning plays and precise execution because it was one of those where flow was hard to come by and the game slowed down and clogged up. But the Thunder have built a muscle of adaptability and can play pretty much any way you want to. So after an Anthony Edwards three, cut it to one with a minute left. The Wolves doubled SGA, but the Thunder didn’t overreact. instead working the ball to the free throw line, then back out to reset again with SGA who got doubled again, then swung it to Lou Dort who attacked downhill and threw a beautiful crosscourt pass to Chat who had relocated. It was terrific team play in a big spot with fantastic problem solving by OKC. Again, that’s the sort of thing you get by building a muscle. Number two, and to complement the excellent clutch time playmaking, the Thunder threw on the padlock. Coming out of a timeout in a tie game with three minutes left, SGA forced a steal and finished a runout layup to give OKC the lead. Then another steal the next possession. Then this monster rebound by Cadet in traffic and key free throws. And to cap it all off, a 5-second violation when the Wolves just couldn’t inbound the ball with 20 seconds left. In the final three minutes of the game, the Wolves scored four points on one of seven shooting with three turnovers. Small margins, winning plays. And number three, Kenny Hustle is back. We love to see it. Williams. That’s it. That’s the thing. Next up, another Cup game on Friday. This one against the Suns.

  3. We need Chet to be clutch. And, that was clutch my friends. Antman wouldn't go away, damn he is good, so Chet had to make the shot. Thunder Up against the Suns Friday! BOOMER!! Po.

  4. The difference in the game was sotas ability to shoot the three, the Thunders inability to shoot the three, and finally, sotas inability to shoot free throws. It's crazy to be better at threes than frees. The Thunder won by 8 and made 8 more free throws on basically the same shots.
