Who could have guessed Houston would have over performed.
So bad we’re not even on the chart đ
Whereâs the Phillies at? They should be at 21 playoff wins and 839 regular season wins, but I donât see them at that point
Phillies completely missing?

this sucks
The mariners are missing? They have 8 wins and I donât see any teams there.
Dodgers have more wins than anybody but are still under the line. Suckers!
This graph makes no sense. What the hell are âplayoff wins?â Itâs not possible to win games in the playoffs. Next you will be telling me that some teams have won a playoff *series,* which everyone knows has been illegal for the past 30 years.
What are the playoffs?
You should repost this with the Sea and Phi added one you replied to in the comment to me on DIB.
cool chart đ
I donât see how you could make a correlation here. Teams can suck for 7-8 years but make 2 playoffs during great seasons and have a good record, wouldnât that show they âover performedâ despite potentially underperforming in the playoffs to their W/L record that season?
The Astros being an outlier is such an easy data point to Mark and dismiss
Rocktober is the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow
If this is the Mets overachieving I donât even want to know what under achieving looks like
Any reasoning behind choosing a logistic model over a linear one, or any other type?
Dodgers are beasts
Never knew the Giants were in Minnesota, good to know.

Red Sox perform at the statistical norm youâll never sing that.
If this model isnât *trash*, *can* it really be possible for the Astros to have *banged* out so many wins above expectation?
Validates the cardinals recent post season viewing experience, do just well enough to make the post season then get smoked
Playoff stats are always pain and suffering.
Confirmed, Royals best legitimate non-cheating team in baseball.
(Thank you for not doing this from 2016 onward.)
Clearly cheating works
đ
Fuckin’ loser Dodgers.
Remove the Astros 14 playoff wins from 2017 when they were cheating (and probably other years as well) and they are probably average or below average performers.
The Mariners aren’t on the chart, and neither are the Phillies. They should both be on here.
