You have an unknown in Quinners and Totong of Aloa will be here in 2026, but that is his last year guaranteed due to his contract details. So, why not go trade for a diminished former top pick like a JJ McCarthy, like an Anthony Richardson, a M. Jones to potentially be the new backup for Tua. but also compete for that starting role because worst things worse, you trade a late day three pick for a quarterback that is a backup. Best case scenario, maybe you find your future quarterback that is replacing Tua longterm. I’ll throw out another name out there for you. What about Shar Sanders who was not that bad in his debut start against the Raiders?
