I just wanted to share this from Pete Hughes on X. He has some great amateur scouting content/prospect content. He’s not an anti-tank guy per se-I don’t think he has a dog in this fight as he doesn’t seem to be a primary Flames fan. I think his reason for saying we don’t need to tank, is just to emphasize how well he believes the drafting is. I am personally all foreboding out this year, and the chips fall where they may.
Especially excited to draft this year, because we already have a really solid pipeline. Adding a top-tier talent to it will make for an excellent future.

We still need like 3 years straight drafting top 10 with one or two top 3ish picks.
Say what you want about the flames but they definitely know how to draft. Probably one of the strongest aspects of this franchise for the past twenty or so years.
If you feel up to it, can you periodically post this stuff or give us these updates when you happen to see them? This is great.
I love living in a college hockey town, can’t wait to see Reschny in action and I’ll be buying his jersey as soon as I can.
