Albert Breer, “Rams Are BEST TEAM in NFL”
The very best team in all the NFL right now is the Los Angeles Rams. And the MVP of the NFL is Matthew Stafford. And I say that with all due respect to Drake May, who is right there in the race with him. I say that with all due respect to Jonathan Taylor. I think we saw Jonathan Taylor’s value on Sunday in what what would happen when the Colts went away from him. But to me, I just look at the year Matthew Stafford’s had, and this is who he could have been for all those years in Detroit. This is who Shawn McVey saw when he said, “Go get him back in 2021.” And, you know, I think we’re seeing now what happens when you’ve got a player who’s got all the physical ability in the world. He’s got a good situation around him, a good system around him, and he his mind is completely unlocked. And they’re in a place right now where when you watch Matthew Stafford play football, it looks like he’s toying with the defense. And he’s got Puka Nakua to throw to, and he’s got Devonte Adams to throw to, and he’s got a strong running game with Kairen Williams and Blake Cororm. And the defense can do its job. Um, you know, the most impressive thing about the Rams is if you want to go back a week, they’re able to beat the Seahawks with Stafford throwing for less than 200 yards. And now they come back and and and and and and this week what they’re able to do against a good Buccaneers team, blow them completely off the field. Stafford, you know, when when when when they are put in these obvious throwing situations, looks so calm and so at ease and so in control. And I just look at the whole Rams operation as as as one that’s humming right now. And I think Stafford’s playing the best quarterback of any football at best quarterback of best football of any quarterback in the league. Um right now his touchdown interception ratio is 30-2. He’s thrown 25 touchdown passes since his last interception. He last threw an interception on September 21st against the Eagles. Think about that. September 21st. That’s more than two months ago. Um that since he’s last thrown an interception. So I think Stafford’s the MVP of the league. I think that the Rams are the favorite right now to win the Super Bowl, to go into Santa Clara, the home of their arch rivals, and win a second championship under Shawn McVey. And I’m excited to see where they take it from here. But again, to me right now, Matthew Stafford is the MVP of the league. Drake Ma right there with him. Jonathan Taylor’s right there with him. All due respect to Jackson Smith and Jig, but Christian McCaffrey, they deserve notice, too. A staffers the envy.

I concur with all you said. Go Rams!!!!
He deserves to finally be recognised.
The stats actually back that up too. Defensive and offensive EPA they are ahead in both my a wide margin
Don’t forget they got two first round picks next year including a potential top ten pick from Atlanta
It was destiny for Matthew to become a Ram. That beat down kid from the Lions. Under McVay's wizardry unlocked the 2nd Iteration of Medusa as a Ram.
Don't look into his eyes he'll turn you into stone. 🐏🐍🪨
I am amazed by what McVey and the Front office are doing.
Not only making the trade for Stafford
But for the many moves since
Getting Davante Adams when the league thought he was washed up
Picking up Nate landman when everybody thought he was a bust
Getting Emmanul Forbes when the league thought he was a bust
Getting Puka Nacua in the fifth round
The Rams have not had a first round draft pick in the last five years, and yet have managed to build the youngest, cheapest and best defense in the league, using castoffs and after thoughts
That’s a Bill Belichick level of talent, identification, and ability to put it into your system
And what we have moving forward?
2/ first round pics 2/5 round pics 2/6 round pics
$95 million in cap space and we’ve already extended Nate landman
And the Rams have built a culture that other teams envy in that players want to be a part of so when a free agent is available the Rams or whether they’re gonna wanna play
This team is poised to make a dynastic run and they’ve been run so well they even win Matt Stafford decides to hang it up. I have confidence that either through the draft trades or simply seen something. Nobody else saw that they’ll find another quarterback who can play and adjust the system to fit him.
The Rams have not even trailed in a game since the 2nd quarter against the Ravens…
Let that one marinate in your mind for awhile
When they hoist the Lombardi, we can all say HELL YEAH, they are the best team in the league. They are playing amazing TEAM FOOTBALL right now, and if not for miscues in their two losses, would be undefeated right now. So for now, let's just take it one game at a time.
GO RAMS!
