  9. It’s going to hurt but the sport of hockey deserves to see a talent like Quinn playing for an organization that is more than a dumpster fire.

    Once the club has a mission statement, and direction, that aligns with the ultimate goal of winning a Stanley Cup, our players will have a reason to smile… but that won’t happen while Aqua’s calling the shots for his yes-men.

  14. It’s not necessary to air your dirty laundry over and over again. It’s almost like they want the negative look on them.

  15. In any other organization, management talking to their captain about how his body language despite his play can send the wrong message especially to the younger players is completely reason.

    In this clown show organization it just makes Rutherford and Allvin look like they are grasping at straws to set up another narrative to try to flame a player (literally what they did to Petey last year despite his knee tendinitis and recovery being very public information but they built a narrative that he was lazy and didnt prepare in the offseason).

  16. Foote’s defensive structure is GARBAGE

    Tochett got criticized for his offense but at least we were competitve defensively

    We are terrible 5v5 at both ends under Foote

    I’d have terrible body language too

  19. If Quinn hopes to be a sister wife he needs to smile more and be sweet. 

    I watched Petr Klima play when I lived in Edmonton and had season tickets. He was always smiling. Benched, healthy scratch, playing like shit, team losing 5-0….always smiling. See him at Superstore, smiling. He had that $400,000 per year contract, he was happy. 

    I want a captain that gets angy and upset about his team.

    Be Hughes, not Klima.

    Im the furthest thing from a canucks fan (Idk why this was on my feed) and even i can tell he is genuinely trying absolutely everything in his power to remain a canuck and give this franchise an opportunity to be succesful.

    This is very poor managing from management IMO

  21. A captain should lead by example. Pouring and throwing your arms up isn’t a good look and creates unnecessary distraction in this market.

    There was a lot of leadership talk on his first season, but he really hasn’t developed much as a captain since then. Don’t see him around the community much and often skips media after games.

    Love the player but would be great to see some improvements there
