Lamar Jackson on His Performance Against the Bengals | Baltimore Ravens
Thanks. Okay. Thanks. Uh three turnovers for for you tonight. That’s uncharacteristic. We don’t usually see that with you. What what what do you think has been, you know, the the issue not only tonight, but maybe over the past few weeks where it doesn’t seem like, you know, you’re your normal self out there? No, I just got to play consistent. you know, can’t have turnovers, especially in any game, not just this game, but any game. Can’t have turnovers, two fumbles, uh, in an interception, tip interception. We got to be consistent. We putting our defense on the field too much. Can’t have that. How, um, how frustrating is it to make those kind of mistakes? To your point, something you’ve talked about a few times this year, can’t put the the defense in that position. How would you describe your frustration level, I guess, with that? I can’t describe the the level of frustration. You know, I’m ticked off. You know, it’s not even frustration. I’m just mad cuz like I said, we can’t have that. And turnovers is a big part of winning losing games and turning the ball over, giving them an extra possession. This is the outcome. Did it start to feel like it’s became a snowball effect? You know, the likely fumble, your fumble, just you trying to pump things. It just seemed like a lot of weird fumbles happening. Yeah, you know, it’s like you said, weird fumbles, you know, but got to hold on to the ball, you know. Um, and not I’m not even talking about like I’m talking about myself, you know, hold on to the ball and make throws cuz I feel like I missed throws that was I don’t miss those, you know. Just got to be consistent. Is it a mechanical thing with with the with the accuracy? Been throwing like that all this time. Just got to be consistent. Lamar, we’ve heard you say some of these after recent games, even wins. You kind of said we got to put more points on the board. We got to be more consistent. Why do you think the offense is continues to trend the way it’s trended? I don’t know. I can’t call it. I I really can’t. I don’t want to make nothing up. Um I feel like we was doing things pretty good on the field. Uh we got first downs. Uh we drove the ball down the field sometimes and then a turnover happened, a mishap, you know, here and there. We just got to be on the same page, be consistent. Like I just said, that’s the biggest key right now, being consistent throughout the game, first quarter to fourth quarter, and not putting our defense on the field as much as we did. Really had a lot of success doing zero blitzes against you on third down. Um, anything in particular that you felt like that look was giving you trouble tonight? No. No, I don’t. Mark, you said if if I’m out there, I’m good enough to play. I can, you know, I can play. You’ve been on the injury before with a hamstring, with an ankle, with a knee, with a toe. Is that affecting you that compil Is it affect I know you say when I’m out there, I feel like I can make a plays, but are all those compilation of injuries affecting you out there and affecting the throws? No, I just got to be more consistent. I got to make those throws. I don’t miss them in practice, so I shouldn’t be missing them in the game. Do you feel like you’re seeing the field the way that you want to? I mean, is it still unfolding the way that you expect it to, and it’s just the execution that’s not? Yeah, I feel like I’m seeing the field pretty good for the most part, you know, but I just got to be consistent. We all just got to be consistent. Can you take us through what happened on that second lost fumble of yours? The award pass. Yeah, I seen Zay on the post post. It was covered too. I seen Z on the post and I tried to put the ball back to make sure it wasn’t no Tampa two mic. You know, I didn’t want to just throw it blindly when I was pulling it back. It just man got to hold on to the ball. Sorry. Um team now six and six, you know, where where where you guys you had a good streak with five five wins at six and six. Where you where you guys go from here? Got to go watch film, clean up what happened tonight, you know, and just lock in cuz we got two divisional opponents. We got to see in two weeks. We got to see Steelers this up well, you know, 10 days. Just got to lock in, man. Be consistent. Put points on the board like I’ve been saying. But we just got to actually do it. Lamar, um, you guys have had a lot of success here offensively over the years. Do you feel like this is the toughest stretch since you’ve been a quarterback here offensively? No, I don’t. I don’t. What do you think you guys What do you need to do to to find that consistency you’re looking for? Just be me. Just be Lamar, you know? That’s all. Did you have to do anything protective with your cleat with the toe injury? Was that a factor? Uh, no. I was good. My toe was good. Yeah. All right. Thanks, Lamar. All right.

Lamar aint focused, go ahead Lamar take all next week off of practice. You are that good.
Lamar must be sick ?
Lamar stop it. You hurt
4:35 you not though.
He does not have a great head coach and coaches to keep him and the entire team ready, focused and into the games; a constant including head coach talking to everyone! You heard him constantly saying being consistent………
Lamar seems to be disinterested.
He seemed like his normal self with no throwing accuracy whatsoever lol
Please leave my team Lamar!!!! I want to win!!! Stole the Ravens money
It's clear the NFL is rigged. The coaches are getting the call on what to do and not to do.
TRUE fans still believe in you, believe in yourself. 5 straight wins and after a loss they completely switch up. These fair weather fans can take their fickle emotions elsewhere. Win or lose, I'm watching until the end! Fake fans cheering when they win and booing when they lose. EVERYONE has an off game! Same people trashing defense earlier in the season when the same offense was going crazy. Let's get back at it and letβs go Ravensssππ€π!
Team was horrible last night. So many mistakes. Plus Jackson was horrible. Hard to believe he was MVP twice in this league. 2 horrible fumbles. Everybody has been beaten the crap of the Bengals for weeks on end and the Ravens did nothing against them. But it seems to be the whole team plays better when Burrow is in there. Now they are only 2 games behind and at 4 at 8 can still make the playoffs.
It's called going to practice. Your not special you have to practice like the rest of the team.
OL allowing too much pressure and defense allowing too many runz up the middle and The middle iz open on all levelz from the line to backerz to the zafetiez. Nasty Roquan need to do better and he need zomebody beside him. PQ waz decent paired w eem.
The whole ravens organization is so overrated, instead of building around Lamar they spend all these high draft picks on defense, and their defense is average at best.
Trash Jackson!
IM SICK OF HEARING THE SAME SH$T DAY IN AND DAY OUT!!! CHANGES NEED TO BE MADE NOW!!!!! π‘π‘π‘π‘π‘
I'm from Baltimore I love my city. This team is a product of this coaching or lack of.
Lamar Jackson took a check from somebody he is selling itβs obvious!
Y'all have to play like everyone's trying to knock the ball out of your hands…. PROTECT THE BALL!!!!!! π‘π‘π‘π‘
Thanks for ruining my Thanksgiving Lamar… don't know what to say but figure out man. I know you can play better. π’π’π’π’π’
