Yabusele BREAKS SILENCE on Weight Talk… 👀🔥
Nick’s forward Gershan Yabuselli has officially responded to all the talk about his weight and he’s making it very clear that he’s not bothered at all. Yabuselli recently told Stefan Bondi of the New York Post that the whole weight conversation is confusing to him. He said that if you look at the numbers, he’s actually the same weight as last season, even a little lighter. So, he doesn’t understand why it suddenly became a big topic this year. He said he hears the noise, sees it all from the fans, but he chooses not to engage with it because he knows that he’s in great shape and feels good physically. Yabuselli also admitted that the tougher part of this season has not been conditioning, but has been adjusting to a new role, fewer minutes, and trying to find his rhythm in Mike Brown’s system. But he’s staying positive, staying ready, and says that his focus is on helping the Knicks whenever his number is called. Conditioning according to him is not the issue.

Its not the weight. He’s right. It’s the transition period with his role compared to much more minutes last season.
Trade him ASAP
Give him a chance to get chemistry with the team. If anything there's more issues with Mike Brown having these guys just throw up 3pt shots and us still getting exposed with our poor 3pt defense

Boi look the same when he was causing problems for us in France. People be over blowing things as usual. I did always kind of knew his outside shot was an aberration and I’m just hoping he could get it to a respectable level being he’s our only other stretch big. Praying it’s not being hindered by the knee cuz we need someone other than KAT to keep the defense honest

He looks ridiculously slow and a liability defensively and on the boards who is supposed to be saved by his scoring ability which has been unfindable this season

He can't move fast in transition and lags behind on defense. He needs to lose weight.
He playing 10 mintues a game and its like the fan base trying to say he bad when he actually ok they dont play him enough which is frustrating he needs to be playing 25 plus mintues

Yabu was great for the Sixers last year, I think it’s only a matter of time before he breaks out.
According to his size he needs to be more post up in the paint . Because he's about the same size like Randle 3 points shots should not be his game.
He is not a good 3 points shooter needs to post up in the paint use his size he's not athletic cannot run fast break
He needs to improve his defense as well always getting cooked by faster athletic guys
