[Schefter] Commanders HC Dan Quinn ruled out QB Jayden Daniels for Sunday night’s game VS. Denver but expects WR Terry McLaurin to play.

  1. Honestly probably a sigh of relief for commanders fans, I’d imagine a lot of them didn’t want to rush him back especially against a team leading the league in sacks.

  2. Interesting. Can anyone confirm – My understanding is Broncos have 2 games in total vs. Marcus Mariota lifetime with a 34.7% completion?

  3. No matter who’s playing for the Commanders, I fully expect our defense to ball out and for Will Lutz to kick the go-ahead FG to win 20-17

  4. Hopefully we can capitalize on the solid offense last game and put some points up. Would love to see a 30-10 W

  5. If commanders really were going to toot him out there to play it would’ve been a mistake. Listen I know the guy probably wants to play but the guy just coming out of an injury should not be in a game where they face a defense like ours.

  6. Would have been malpractice to bring him back too early against this defense.

Imagine Dan Quinn brings him back and he gets sacked 5 times and on the 5th sack gets injured and is out for the season again? Quinn wouldn’t even make it back on the team bus. He’d be fired before he got to the locker room.

As Kenny Rogers once said, you gotta know when to hold ’em, and know when to fold ’em.

  7. I have a bad feeling about this game, and the Raiders/Jags games coming up. These should be games that we win but after a long winning run and with the Chiefs falling away I can see a game coming where our minds are not on the job and we get a nasty reminder that the NFL is competitive and even the weaker teams can bite your ass.
