I loved what I saw from this kid..And he’s 7’2!!
Mazz did the same thing w Drew Peterson last year vs the Cavs. Gave zero warning and played him after countless DNPs.
Joe said it was intentional that he didn’t give a heads up; he didn’t want Drew to switch up his routine. It also sends a message to players to always be prepared.
Joe’s said it many times already, everyone’s gonna get a shot this year. Guys gotta stay ready. I love it.
