Seattle Times is IGNORING our Women’s Sports, Let’s Demand Coverage!

I hate to be that person, but there’s still a massive popularity gap between women’s sports and men’s sports. It makes sense why they don’t devote a ton of coverage towards it. Should they have devoted more coverage than just a simple score line? Yes, absolutely, I agree with that. But news companies only cares about what sells their product.
Here’s what I commented on the main post.
Ignoring isn’t the word I’d use. It’s more along the line of unequipped and deciding not to cover. Writers cost money and do you believe that paying someone to cover PWHL is going to pay off? You have an argument for the storm needing more coverage but besides that I can’t imagine there is a large enough audience to devote funds to writers and their time covering the PWHL. What I would suggest is if you want to see articles covering the torrent is asking them to accept user submitted blurbs/articles.
Seattle times has gone downhill massively.
