If CJ learned anything from Mills. Feed Jayden Higgins in the Redzone. It’s FREE EATS when he’s in the slot

  1. I hope Caley remembers who Higgins and Noel are. It doesn’t matter to me if Kirk finally had a good game, starting him over Noel is football terrorism.

  2. Yeah our big and versatile WRs Nico and Higgins match up really well against their defense and corners who are vulnerable to crossers. Their LBs are weak in coverage too. Buckner, who has always wrecked the Texans, will also be out.

On the other side, the colts have been selling out to keep Jones from being touched (big reason why KC had no sacks last week). They have to protect him at all costs because if something worse comes out of this injury, it’s going to be disastrous for their organization. So that means fewer designed runs and RPO, which is what made their offense so good early on (aside from weak competition and minimal tape opp teams had). Now that the Texans know this, they will likely gameplan similar to what KC did last week, making the colts run game a lot less effective.

If Texans can stop JT on early downs and get the run game going, it’ll be a long day for the Colts. Texans should win this if the offense can just be average imo

  3. I was so happy when we drafted Higgins. He was my favorite WR in the draft. Not as excited about this year’s crop of WRs, but Chase Roberts out of BYU reminds me a bit of Higgins. 6-4, 210, 4.5 40, so basically the same size and speed. Runs good routes and is very consistent. If we decide we need another WR he’s not a bad option in the fifth or so.

  4. A couple NFL analysts I really like said all the way up to the draft that they think Higgins is just a much better player in the slot despite his build and I think we’ve seen that play out

  5. Put him in the slot as his primary position when he’s on the field and for the love of god give Noel more snaps

  6. Also, be on time. Everything is timing. No need to constantly try to outsmart the defense alone.

  7. And try not to throw to him at the sideline, give him plenty of space to get both feet in.

  8. All you Texans fans, do you think it’s worth starting Higgins over Kennan Allen or Michael Pittman in fantasy (half ppr)?

  9. How amazing would it be if the game starts off with a 75 yard bomb to Higgins like he did his rookie year to nico.
