Colorado Avalanche vs. Minnesota Wild | NHL Highlights | November 28, 2025
Little bit of a measuring stick game here.
As good as the Wild’s game has been lately, these are the kind of days where you prove
it to be legitimate. Absolutely. These are the ones you bring a little extra and you
can get up for these a little. Each team won two. Minnesota picked up one win and
two starts in Denver. One in a shootout here in the final meeting in St. Paul
to earn a split in the season series. Zukarella has it here for the Wild. Back
into his own zone. Middleton out to center ice. Yurov hands it off to Zukarelloo. Back
for Yurov on the back hand. Got a shot away and a save by Wedgewood. Tried to send it back to
the line now all the way around for Zukarelloo. He flipped it toward the net and Wedgwood covers
exactly halfway through. Eurovv into the corner for Johansson. His centering pass was deflected.
Eurovv recovers. Good play by Eurovv to keep it alive. Favor look. Fires. Tipped out front.
Saved by Wedgewood and plays it out through neutral ice. Baldi taps it ahead. Spins away
from Macar. Got it to Hartman. A shot. Saved by Wedgewood. Buham battling for the puck there but
couldn’t keep it alive and the ABS come to center ice. Landisk plays it down into the corner.
Trending with a hit along the wall. He leads the league in that department. Comes into this
game with 108. Nine more than any other player. Mar spins to lose Hartman into the circle. A
shot saved by Ballstead. Just pretty pretty incredible. Mar gains the zone, spins away
from Sturm. Back to McKinnon. McKinnon shot knocked down by Ballstead. Loose in
the slot. It’s clear to the wall. Ballstead with a kick save. Rebound and Bstead
slides across for a tremendous save early. Nelson gives to Olison. Up high Burns. Now Nelson,
the Minnesota native, sends it into the corner. Up high. Burns. Olison fires. That’s deflected.
Baldi hustles over. Wild at full strength. They have numbers at center. Baldi into the Colorado
zone. Dropped it back for Trenion. Off target. Hartman just off the bench. Able to keep it alive
for Minnesota. Tren fighting for the puck in the corner. Hartman deflects, comes free to the line.
Baldi look, centers and a tip by Hartman. Lwood with a save. Hartman keeps it alive. That injured
list never seems to get below three. As soon as somebody comes back, somebody else gets knocked
out of the lineup. Middleton shot got through and Wedgewood able to cover. We’ve seen these
two teams have had the best goalending in the league this month. each have posted a 1.63 goals
against in the month of November this year so far in 21 games has posted eight points. A save by
Wedgewood that seemed to fool him. The puck was going the opposite direction. Change up against
Wedgewood and nearly caught him. We remain even 0. And he’s surprised Wedgewood. He was moving to
his right already, cheating. Erikson tries to wrap around and Wedgewood makes the save. Juel
Erikson nearly a point a game player against the Avalanche in his career. 32 points in 34 games.
What a battle by Capri to win this puck. But now Landiskog races past Middleton. He fires
and a kick save by Volstead. And now he looks a lot like the player we’ve seen star for this
ABS club over the years. Yeah, it doesn’t look like his legs are slowing down much. Unfortunate
bounce at Middleton in the blue line, but go down. Play in 10 playoff games for them a couple seasons
ago. Mar moves in, waits, fire, save, ballstead. Goan had a chance at the rebound. Couldn’t get
it by Tes at the line. Jones controls, turns back to his forehand so he can float it out to
center. And the Wild get fresh troops on the ice. ABS have tilted the ice their way here
over the last two or three minutes. We saw big numbers in his career against the
ABS. 20 points in 18 games. Out front they score. McKinnon got loose in the slot and the puck finds
him off the wall. Avalanche for the game’s first goal. It’s one z. And it was unexpected that that
puck was going to come out on the defensive side. and does a great job of just getting the puck
to the net. Turns into a wall battle. Leaning him just gets his stick in there on top of Grease
off Grease’s and just strong on his lower hand and that puck just slips in between the two wild
defenders and finds the tape of 29 who of all people probably not the guy you want to find the
tape but he’s all alone in front of out the center for Eurovv ahead to Zukarelloo. Zukarelloo
on the backand tried to go back to Yurov. Three shut outs during that stretch. ABS
have won 10 in a row. The last three in a row by shut out. And Wedgewood covers this
one. Faceoff will come out of McKinnon. McKinnon pressured by Eriksonette. Got a shot
through. Kicked to the corner by Ballstead. That group, the equipment staff, they go unnoticed
every year and they’re so important to success on the ice. Congratulations to the Worley family.
Sturm centers. Pitlick with a shot and a save by Wedgewood. Giver sends it back to the line.
Manson a shot. Manson holds. Got another one through. And this one’s held by Walstead.
I think as he learned in these Cup runs, as you mentioned, scored Wednesday in
Chicago against the Hawks. McKinnon fires. Pad save. Ballstead. Burns to Kelly.
Kelly shot. A blocker saved by Volstead. Capriov had it swept off the stick by Kelly and
Volstead just calmly plays it to the board. Wow, them numbers here at the AS line. Broine down
the slot tried to hand it off to Trenan. He passed on a shot on the fouron two and the
pass misfired with Trenan. Hartman out front. Tren fires wide. The other guy started the next
game and the same is happening here in Colorado. They’ve had three straight shutouts and in
not one of them has the same guy gotten the net start. And here the Wild break the
streak. Capri deflects it through the legs of Wedgewood. It’s 200 in the career of
Carill Capri. 28 minutes of this game and the puck’s going to find the way to the back of
the net. But do not leave the goal scorers alone in front of that. Whether it’s on their
stick or skate, they got a knack for scoring. William does a smart smart decision. Gets a
puck to the net. You got 97 around. Scott gets underneath the veteran and Brent Burns. Puck finds
a way to the net and it ends the shut out run for the for the Avalancher. A heads up play by BU.
Just get the that puck to the front of the net. Middleton back to pick it up for Minnesota. Trion across for Hartman. Kelly sprawls.
Hartman the wraparound. They score. Number 20 for Capriov. His second of the night.
And Minnesota leads it two to one. Hit a stick and slowed up just enough for Harvin to catch up.
Takes it for a wrapound. Knew he wasn’t going to make it to that far post with a stick. Smart
heads up play. Sees Capri off last second on the inside of Burns again, which we saw on the first
goal. Capri up got inside. Burns won that 50 foul. 50/50 battle block. If he had seen Carrill
that might have been a tap in for a hatred. Landisk in a shot that at the side of the netan
picks it up. Landisk a little slow to his feet behind the Minnesota goal. Mar for McKinnon to
Landiskog at the side of the net and he scores. Land Scog and McKinnon longtime linemates
reunited for this shift off to Wallstead’s blocker side and stays down for a split second.
Goes in awkward. You never know with his leg injury. He gets up though as a competitor.
Finds his way against gets loose on the weak side of the net. Gets a crack at the first time.
Stays with it and strong on the puck. Gets under Faber’s stick and ends up getting a top shelf.
What a pass back door to create that play. But wild in shootouts this year. Two and0 ABS
0 and two. Zukarelloo in against Wedgewood. And he goes to the backand makes it look easy
and scores. The low blocker shot here. Boom. Gets Wedgwood to go down and 39 of 41 through 65
minutes. Nous in for Colorado and he outweights Ballad and scores on the back hand in the league
in scoring right now. Almost identical move to Zukarelloo but this time he goes to his fore
fake hard backand. Boom. I mean getting all the way over there. Two goals already in the
game. And a save by Wedgewood as Capri tried to beat him to the stick side. Yeah, it’s that quick
release that Karis likes to lo use a lot and come in and try to go from the goalie’s blocker side
to glove side. Get him to move a little bit and wedgewood. He didn’t budge at all and held his
ground and stayed out on top. Nathan McKinnon. McKinnon in and a save bystead. He stopped
him in the closing seconds of overtime. He stops him again in the shootout. Staying
with him. It’s that movie you see from McKinnon a million times. It’s stick
handle stick out quick and they try saucing it high glove and having the goalie
overreact to that. It’s his hands that get going so fast feels like you got to get going
fast. Matt Baldy for Minnesota. Baldi scores. It’s incredible. He maybe wanted
to go backhand. He saw Wedgewood didn’t move. Stayed with him. Went back
to his forehand. Similar to the Super Zoo with fake low blocker back hand
but and it’s Kale Mar against Bstead save by Volstead and it’s a win for the Wild. They
stop the 10ame win streak of the best team in the NHL. It’s seven in a row for Minnesota. Colorado
off their 10ame win streak. It’s just patience hitting the ice by Wall 7 is the best part of
it right here. That feels good to hit that. I know that’s excitement right there. Keep his
streak going. His run’s been incredibly to watch.

Olympians vs Titans
Here we go again! They have to stay healthy, or nothing changes!
Avs should bring back Georgiev and we can use him just for shootouts. That's the one area he really shined.
I think the Wild are so good this year, they're going to be 2nd round exits 🧐
I'm just kidding hopefully they win the Stanley Cup! 😂
THE WALL STILL STANDS
Trenin’s hands are so bad. Lol
Can we get rid of the shootout already??
Big time win for the Wild today, especially against the best team in the NHL!
Go wild!
That's what I'm talking about!
The Wild’s young players have settled down and look so much steadier this year. I think it bodes well for the team’s future.
I'm blown away by the tempo of the game.
Wedgewood stays very calm in the crease. I love it and hate it. 😂😂😂
Great save on the last shoot out chance by the Avs!!!
Omg boldy is just amazing with his hands.
The Great Wall of Saint Paul 😅
Av’s fan here gotta tip my 🧢 to Karill the Thrill and the Wild gahdamn! 🔥
Молодцы парни ! Сделали с утра прекрасное настроение !
Walstedt again. Uh-oh.
How good is Krill yall. Worth all of it
Ha im glad the Wild won, but that first goal was definitely intentionally off the skate
