I love Taysom Hill but it's no point letting Shough drive down the field then start wasting plays in the redzone with Taysom at QB in the Wildcat. We don't have the Oline for that to work consistently so why do we keep trying it in the redone? Please let the rook cook, Kellen!

I didnt watch the game this week and I heard this is what they did. I never truly did understand the addiction of using Hill in the obvious manners. I like Hill in every way dont get me wrong, just felt like oversatured and telegraphed usage imo.

Exactly. If he can’t convert, good to know. If he can convert, that can be the difference between a win and a loss. Heck, how well a qb produces in the red zone can be HUGE for their career.
If it was working it would be one thing but Taysom clearly has regressed this year. After a major knee injury and being in his mid 30’s … it’s to be expected. Not sure why they keep trying to use him so much when it just isn’t working. Devin Neal looked better when he was in so it was odd to me they kept opting to use Taysom over the rookie. Hopefully this weekend they’ll have wisened up. And this is coming from a diehard Taysom fan. My wife knows I’m Gay 4 Tay. But dude just isn’t it this season. Father Time is undefeated. Same goes for Kamara.
Taysom is the man but he is getting old and the other teams are not as scared as him as they were in the past. I agree with letting Shough finish drives, especially since he can scramble better than Taysom

I think Kellen has made some adjustments slowly, I won’t be surprised if we see Shough taking the shots the next few games in the redzone
Shough was 70% on his passes at one point and we STILL tried to run the ball 4 times for a short touchdown with an Oline that has proven they suck at run blocking. I was fucking mind blown. Shough has showed he’s a good decision maker, let him take us home.
