Final Minutes of Play, Canucks @ Sharks
Now Olaf for Celibbrini on the far side. He’s checked there by Marcus Patterson. Get a second man in there. Heronic as Celine tussles with him and Heronic just took a dive and Garrett Rank called it. [Music] Five on. So we have four on four. Cellrini goes to the box. Here it is. Here it is right here. Jose number 71. Two minutes and two minutes. So he got four minutes. He got two and two. Pack celebrating. You have 124 left. So it’s right now on the game clock. They’re just showing one minor penalty each as he just said. Unless it was a 10-minute misg. I think it’s they’re straightening it out right now. He got Yeah, he’s going to give him four minutes. Yeah, it’s 4 minutes and so 124 left on the game clock. Trying to hold it. They’re trying to get it straight here on what’s the situation. It’s four on four for 42 seconds and then goenders out. So right now it’s five on four. The Conucks trying to tie here with 84 seconds left in the third period. Elias Patterson against Ty Dandria. Good second effort by Dandria, but the Conucks have it. Quinn Hughes with the puck. Brock Besser with the shot. It’s blocked. Here’s Crow. He’ll chip it to the far boards now to the empty net, but he didn’t have enough on it. Was on his backhand and couldn’t put it in the net as the Canucks come back through center. Brock Besser on the entry for De Brus as we’re inside the final minute of the third. Graph on that farboard side, but De Brusk has it to Hugh. Henderson save Asterov just as Evander Kane comes out of the penalty box. Discipline. More steam than yesterday’s gravy. Drew. Here’s Hughes. Shot blocked in front. Sherwood back for Hughes on the wing. It’s Elias Patterson. He’ll wind up and a close save by Astarov. Penalties. Quinn Hughes. He’ll shoot it into the crowd and through to Asterov who’s got another save. Dandria changes up with Wenberg. And now Tai, who’s been so good in the circle, takes this draw off a scramble. Shots with possession. Ferraro just trying to kill some time down at the end boards as scrum develops and some stuff and penalties as the game clock winds down and the Sharks win. [Applause] We think the game is over unless the referee blew the whistle down there before time had expired as Brock Besser is on top of Tyandria. Does it face off or go outside anyway? They have just put 1.9 seconds back on the game clock. Darren Rank is telling the benches hold up. So they’re looking at that 1.9 going back on. But with the defenseman coming in on that particular play on that scrum, it is it is going to be the faceoff should be outside. And now Garrett Rank is going to ask for clarification on the time remaining. He’s going to make an announcement. The clock will be reset to 1.9 seconds. There is a penalty. So one more faceoff. What are the penalties here? It doesn’t I don’t know. He hasn’t hit. Nobody’s making a call on penalties. But why is the face off inside? Shouldn’t the Tiger Landry is arguing, shouldn’t the face off be outside because all the Conucks were in on that particular play. Now he’s going to make some calls here Garrett Rank about penalties. There there’s Ferraro in discussion, if you want to call it that, with Riley Brace, the other referee. Now here’s the pileup. Smart play by Mario Ferraro. That’s what you do. You win the draw and then you’ve got that little time left in the clock, but then Barkley comes in and gives it to Patterson. And then Sherwood grabs Barkley and then Dandria hits Patterson and Besser grabs Dandria and then everybody kept jumping in on that after that. Now they’re discussing where the who’s going in the penalty box and where the faceoff’s going to be. Goodrow’s going. Delandre is going for the Sharks. Penalty number 42 minutes roughing. San Jose penalty number 23. 2 minutes crosschecking. San Jose penalty number 10. 2 minutes roughing. Everybody came in on the strum. The faceoff will be outside. So you were right on the face off as the defenseman came in and that should be enough distance from Yaroslav who’s been terrific again tonight with 32 saves for the Sharks to close this out. very difficult to score from here even on a a perfect play. Now we’re having more discussions about something. Everybody in the building’s up on their feet, ready to celebrate again because the clock wound down to zero and we thought it was over, but still one more drop of the puck to go. Brian Reeves having a very calm conversation with Jake De Brusk and keeper Sherwood. [Music] The discussion obviously is about the position of the face off. Yeah, if it’s inside, the Canucks have time to score. With this faceoff outside, I just don’t see it. Yeah. The judgment on the ice is that the Vancouver players were in the end zone as a result of the play. Number 43 stayed out of the scrum. Therefore, the faceoff will be inside. Oo. So, they have changed their call. And now Warsovski can’t believe it. There’s six on four here. They can’t. It’s now you can’t have this. They’ve already called their timeout. There’s no way you can run a play here and allow this to rest. You got to get those guys moving. It’s you know what I understand the judgment because Hughes was the only Dman out there and they had six on four. So that’s why they had four guys in on that particular scrum. So I understand that. I understand that judgment. Well then there is time. 1.9 to go. Canucks need a faceoff and a perfect shot. Oh my gosh, guys. He dropped the puck. Well, now another discussion between Grace and War. Now it’s okay. Now it’s a six on three. Remember that too. Off the drop, the tie up and that’ll do it. There you go. A 32 save afternoon for Yaroslav Escarov.

Reffing this atrocious should be considered a safety hazard. You wind these guys up for long enough eventually something will give.
What a shitshow.
Refs need to be drug tested…
Immediately
Holy these commentators are insufferable
I like how Pettersson got 2 minutes for roughing.
The refs did everything in their power to give Canucks a chance lol!
These commentators aren't serious, are they? Wow.
Unfortunately I've watched far less hockey this year due to refs. When they control who gets 2 points because of their feelings integrityof fhe game is gone, the league should spend more time training refs, instead of spending time deciding punishments for players who refuse to march the gay pride parade
Why doesn't anyone drop the gloves and fight anymore? What a sissy league the NHL has become.
That's cross checking. He hit also when down
The refs outta be ashamed, they won't be tho. They probably got a nice check from the betting
I thought the officiating was very fair in this game.
It's really amazing how the GMs and owners doesn't do anything about these bad refs and bad calls. Imagine if this was a playoff game or the final game for the cup.
man the sharks are a bunch of real dirty mofos.
Petterson is such a bi tch, not one gram of heart in his body. He is the kind of teammate nobody wants
Lacrosse might overtake hockey ðŸ˜
So it's clear to me that SJ had a meeting and tried to hurt Pety at the end of the game. That's some seriously DISGUSTING unsportsmanlike sh*t. WTF is wrong with these guys??? There should be suspensions, but the guys who tried to hurt Pety failed. So nothing will happen.
These commentators are a joke, go do the WNBA instead
celebrini the thug
lmao EP40 a penalty for covering his head and falling into the boards.
Not a real league with appalling referees that were assigned to this game. Well done Sharks
