Los Angeles Kings at Anaheim Ducks | FULL Shootout Highlights – November 28, 2025.

time with just over a minute and a half to play and he’ll be the first shooter to oppose the 14-year veteran Darcy Keer. Carlson swings in left shot off right wing and he lost the handle. He had him beat but he couldn’t keep it on his stick and it’s a frustrated Leo who returns to the Anaheim bench. He gets in tight on Keer when he makes to make the move. Almost looked like he lost an edge for a split second. That puck just rolls off his stick. He had a lot of net, just couldn’t get a touch on it. So for the Kings, it’s Kevin Fiala. He had a goal in the game and he comes up the middle in a weaving circuitous route and he hit the post and he had Russo beaten up top. And that’s a big break for the Anaheim goalender. Watch this shot by Fiala. It actually goes between the catching glove and the pad and then off of the goal post. I think Billy got a little piece of that. So, both goalenders may have been beaten but were scoreless in the shootout. Troy Terry, a right shot swings in off the left side. Keer stays in his crease and Terry sneaks it five hole. That was a strange one. Darcy Keer actually drops his stick. I don’t know if he was going to go for a poke check, but watch this. He’s going to lose control of his stick right there. That makes the five hole really vulnerable for Troy Terry. Adrien Kempe has always been a thorn in the Duck’s side at Honda Center. They kept him from scoring a goal in the game and in overtime. Can Huso keep him from scoring in a shootout? We’ll find out. He does. And now a goal is a win for the Ducks. It’ll be Mason McTavish. And we know what McTavish will do. He comes in barely moving. And I’ll say this, Brian, no one may practice it more than Mason McASH. You’re right. Every single day. A goal wins the game. And here comes McTavish with his trademark speed, if you will. And he scores. He speeds it up just in time and sneaks it five hole and the Ducks down two halfway through the third win this afternoon in a shootout 54. Fifth time this season they have come from down two in the third period to win a game. It is absolutely remarkable their ability to put enough pucks in the back of the net. Crazy. Just a crazy crazy start to the season and an enormous two points tacked on for the Ducks. Yeah, big finish to the home stand. They finished four and two and now will go out for a couple quick on the road. In fact, back to back Sunday and Monday in Chicago and St. Louis, but they’ll take these two points with him because Mason McTavish had a chance to close it out. And Hazy, he goes slow enough for you to analyze every move. Well, it’s his favorite play. And we’ve seen this so often from Mason. Multiple stick handles and then he actually stuffs it five hole. He doesn’t shoot it five hole. He just jams it in there. Never say die, ducks. [Music]
