still having a shot off the far side by Terrain and is stopped by Soros on the sharp angle. for 
and he’s able to hang on the offense. Nothing went in the net for him, but man, did he create 
a lot on his first shift. He had a couple of chances. There’s a shot deflected on goal. Good 
save by Charles and the shot by Doc from just inside the line. A change direction. Charles 
Sles able to find it off. Masar, pardon me, back of the lines. Bernard with a pass across 
is deflected. So, Bernard’s out there right now with Dock and looks it deep. Chipped in front by 
Evangelista and Stanos could steer it on goal. Now a shot stopped by Sonnoon. Rebound fed ahead by 
Renel. And nice pass Corovski to Took Green. Now Bernard on the attack. Breaks through with a shot 
and a good save by Sorrowos. Conor Bernard had a terrific look to the defender that almost goes in 
the net. Here’s the one up a breakout. Green hits Bard. And as you said, Connor attacks and finds a 
way to get through traffic and has a good scoring chance. And Sarah M. Grizzlies a pass over to 
Lebanon. Nice play. Four Hawks into the zone. Pass to an auto. Leanoff’s in front. He tries 
to shot the autoes and it’s saved by Sorrowos. Hawks throwing everything a goal right now. 
Yeah, Leonardov made a great play getting up in the play. Shot by Forsber. Stopped and frozen by 
Sonaloo. Bernard trying to fish it away from Jo, but Jo able to get the puck. Trying to work 
it back to the line. Shot by Shay. Pat save by Sonaloon. Right on into the corner. Bernard 
lifts the stick along the wall. Played in front. Tipped on goal. Diving to poke it towards 
the net was Michael Bunting. Turned aside by Serbal. McCarron shot stopped. Rebound comes 
free. Sick. He’ll skate it in. Carolina feeds it back now. Bernard from the circle. Put it 
in front. Ticked on goal by Green. Pad. Save by Sorrow. Draws the penalty. There’s Green in 
front. Little gets good positioning out. Kept on shot by Leanov. Carolina. Bernard to the circle. 
Swings in deep. Pass in front. intercepted. Nice play there as that was picked off by Brady Shay 
and Vui and Naser at two-on-one at the net later in the game. Power play late stage a second 
unit on Verovski on the attack passing over. Donado cuts to the middle of the shot. Stopped 
by Sorrowos. Chase stick flying. Donado gets the puck in front. Burkovski stopped by Sorrowos. 
He’ll settle it down. Hawks keep the pressure on. Here’s Donado with a shot. That’s blocked by 
Shay. Hawks bring the puck towards the blue line and out. Here’s Bernard in full flight. Nice pass 
on the wing. Nasar. Bernard’s in front. There’s the pass deflected widei bumped into Sorrowos. And 
meantime, the loose pucks coraled by Blankenberg. They’ll work it in short-handed with a shot. The 
rebound back stopped by Solder. Two big saves there. Short-handed chances for Blankenberg, 
the defenseman. And Solder had to be sharp. Bring works the puck out, bumps it back for 
Akovsky. will carry it over the line. Tripped up on the play by McCair. Makes a pass to Doc 
though. Here’s Doc with a shot and that went high and it deflects out of play up into the netting. 
Finally play in the period. Puck cleared off a stick and out. Shay sets a comeback on the ice. 
Hawks working ahead quickly. Donado on the attack. Top of the circle. Scores. What a shot by Ryan 
Donado. And the Hawks take a one- nothing lead. Boy, Ryan Donado certainly found the top 
corner there, but late in the power play to shoot through a screen. Soros goes down and 
doesn’t see it coming through. And I would say uh considering that Nashville had done such a good 
job killing the penalty so far that they had gone into this break with the 000 game. Nashville 
would be feeling pretty good about themselves. So a big goal by Ryan Donado there. settle down 
and look at the blue line and out by Svetkov. Tumbling puck into the Hawk. Here’s a chance 
for Evangelista and Son forced to make a good save with 18. Leanoff puts the puck ahead. Denial 
good job to top the stick of Yoshi. Now they’re in two. Dickinson shoots. Stopped by Sorrows. 
Rebound knocked away. Hang able to steer the puck into the corner. He gets it back. He’s got 
a player breaking through the middle. Long feed finds its mark. Here’s a chance. They score on 
a nice shot by Matthew Wood. He snuck in behind coverage and rip one off the right side to tie 
it up at one offensively and Nashville hangs a player behind the defense there. Picks up a loose 
puck, fires it up the ice and Matthew Wood gets hit Solder Boom down early and it’s able to go 
up and over the glove top part of the net glove side to tie this game up. So Wood the product 
of the University of Minnesota gets his seventh goal. Wise black plays it across dumped into the 
zone by Blankenberg up on the forche. Comes free in front. Look out. There’s a big save by Slum 
and the rebound’s chipped high. We’re going to take a look at that save there. And this goal 
did get Nashville a little bit of push there. I don’t know how he gets that right toe on that 
one, but he’s looking at four by six there. And Solder Bloom’s able to get not only make the 
one save. You see Weissplat comes in there. He tries to one- time it in the half empty net. Then 
Solder Bloom says not today. And then he’s able to Renzel runs into Wood. There’s a shot and that’s 
stopped as Shay let it go and Solder Bloom at the top of the crease able to make the save and able 
to feed it off the boards and Nasar finally skates it out. Can’t get it in deep. The Pres right 
back on it into the zone one more time. Work down the way in front. Stabco scores. All sorts 
of extended pressure and Steven Stanos takes the pass from Blankenberg and makes it 2-1 Nashville. 
Get it in deep. Nashville counters and gets the Blackhawks defense a little bit deep in their 
end and a little bit flatfooted. There’s the saucer pass over to Stan close that back door 
is able to get his back hand on it. There’s the pass. Saucer pass back door. Ser can’t 
get the pad over. This is they got that goal on that long breakout pass. Picked the pocket of 
Connor Bernard but missed from the shot. Bernard now working it back the other way with the pass 
to Green and a shot blocker saved by Sorrowos. Former Norris Norris winner able 
to work the puck in on the right side. Here’s with a shot up high and 
it’s knocked down and frozen by Sold. Makes a play to the point. Good steal there. 
Burkovsky’s got a breakaway. Andre Burkovski put it wide. Stolen at the blue line in his 
own end. He walked home free down main street but just shoveled it wide on the stick side. 
Bernard dump in deep. Green up after it able to scoop it out. Make a play back to the line. 
Shot hit bysky. Never got through. Knocked away neatly by Green. He gets it back from with a shot 
post. rebound scooped up by Vertusi. Bernard, oh what a save by Soros as Bernard thought he 
had the equalizer and Soros terrific stop to keep it a onegoal game. Just misses and then 
look at this pass by Bertusi and look at that wide open net and you can see Saros throws 
everything he can and he ends up getting his mask in the way there to make that big save 
there. I think Connor thought he had himself another goal here. Sos was able to come across 
and hits him right in the mask. Puck cleared. Classic on it. Intercepted by Forsber. 
Shoots. Stopped by Son and no rebound. The Hawks break out on the power play. Late 
stages. Man advantage. Burkovski. Donado. Going in front. They score. Burkovski. Perfect 
Green able to fire it in. Get catches just under the crossbar. Right back out again. And it’s a 
power play goal that ties this game up at two. Player that just finds a way to make plays. 
This one’s simple on a play that’s chipped in behind the net. You can see Barakovski goes in 
on the floor check and there is Green right in the slot. Oliver Moore uh you know I didn’t know 
he had this much offensive instinct in him. You see him recover that puck. He snaps it out to 
Green and bang bang, it’s in the net. See Soros still looking over his shoulder. Green puts it 
underneath the arm and back of the net. And Oliver Moore dropped the Ryan O’Reilly goes to work down 
low. Stanos on it. Turns put the pass in front. Evangelista looking for he scores. Evangelista 
puts the PR back on top. 3-2 in the backside. But as you see Stan Co walking up the wall there. 
He sees Evangelista and O’Reilly there. O’Reilly thinks he’s going to tap one end back door. 
Evangelist catches that, backs out, backs out, backs out, delays, goes tweeners on Solder Bloom. 
And that’s a response by Nashville right there. If the Blackhawks tied up on the power 
play not too long after they respond take the lead over with a little chip pass 
find by Petuzi with a shot that goes high across jabbed ahead Evangelista. Here’s O’Reilly 
right in scores. Ryan O’Reilly posted in and the veteran forward for the Pred makes it 4-2 
Nashville. Posting up getting behind the Blackhawk defender there. It comes off of a turnover in the 
offensive zone. You can see how quick they leave the zone there. You see Benista’s already out 
there. Riley heads up the ice and the Blackhawks are not able to recover. Looks like it hits post 
and then middle post. O’Reilly had a good game in Detroit as well on the score sheet there with 
a goal and assist and S’s got a piece of that steering high and it got away from Nazar out the 
center ice laid back in Hawks buzzing looking to make it a run again. There’s a give away score 
got away from Sorrow Terrain into the open net. Hawks within one going to happen. This one comes 
off the boards funny hits the net, bounces right back in front. And you know, you could say it was 
a lucky goal, but the last two or three shifts, the Blackhawks have done a good job kind of 
establishing a little bit of offensive zone presence, a little bit of angriness as they 
compete along the boards. And because of it, they kept getting pucks deep and they get a 
bounce and they’re right back in the game. Terrain at sixth. 6 seconds left. Bernard takes a 
peek. He’ll fire the puck in on goal. Soros makes the save. And that’ll do it for this one. First 
meeting of the season goes the way of the prince.
