Morgan Geekie Reacts to 6-2 Loss to Rangers
What was the mindset going into a game like today with some obvious absences here? Um, I mean, it’s got to be the same as any other day. Obviously, we know the firepower that we lost, but I mean, at least for me, games like this are are an opportunity for a lot of guys to step up and and seize opportunity and and, you know, that’s how you kind of make it in this league. And um you know I think up and down the lineup we didn’t show up to to start the game and obviously they got ahead quick and we battled back a little bit but you know it’s just not a very acceptable effort today. You get down four nothing. Are you in some way you’re you’re just trying to get yourselves going in a way a little bit to to to build into tomorrow as as much as trying to make an improbable comeback? Yeah, I mean um just trying to look for anything to kind of roll into tomorrow, but um yeah, I mean we get booted off the ice in the second. We totally deserve it and you know, we know we got to get the crowd back into it and I thought we came out well in the third and battle back to make it 4-2 and it’s a game at that point and um just couldn’t find a way to close the gap. So it’s a good league but it’s tough to win games when you only play 10 minutes, 20 minutes. Somebody did you talk about the booing? Is that something everybody hears that everybody? No, everybody knows. I mean, I’ve been here, you know, not long, but long enough to understand that everybody’s a passionate fan and and, you know, the effort we came out with today was just unacceptable. And, um, we’re aware of that and we deserve it. So, um, you know, we’re going to come back ready to play tomorrow and kind of put this one in the re every mirror.

First like… I’m sorry yall lost. 😭
Bounce back tomorrow boys
You can't have the same players produce every night. The team roster is average at best compared to the rest of the NHL.
They need to make some changes at the deadline if they want to compete for the Cup.
Black, Blacker, Blackest Friday…Always mindful the first Home game back from an extended Road trip is a dangerous trap…
Perfect example today…
Cant everyone has a ceiling look around and not one person you can rely on no super stars no fire power nothing but goons they are humans say all you want about a better effort they are pros bla bla bruins org wanted this to sell tickets and these dum bruins fans jizz on seeing an mma fight more than scoring so yea results expected and so not fear for pasta his whole life with an org focus on knocking someone out over winning a cup. Those 2 clowns that is running the org needs to be fired.
Booing your own team… Yeah there you go, kick 'em when they're down.
Good answers Morgan, it's a long season and I understand that not every game will be a 60-minute effort. I work tomorrow night but will catch the last period.
Good on Geeks for being holding himself and the team accountable. Its really been a treat to watch his growth the last few seasons
