What does it mean for the team to get Jackson back this week? Mean a lot. Like great quarterback, bring swag, bring energy. We all feed off of it and so we’re excited to have him back. After you had the performance against J Mo, take notice of what he did yesterday and kind of Yeah. compare the two. Yeah, he he a great player. He a dynamic player. He’s going to make plays. Uh just me coming to the game, that’s my approach to take him away and that’s what I did. So they have some pretty good receivers out there on Monday night. What are your thoughts on matching up if you see Diggs or anyone else? Same approach again. Attack mentality, shut down mentality and that’s what I’m, you know, I’m going do. I’m sorry I’m late coming over Cordell. So I apologize if you were asked. Uh with Charlie taking over as defensive coordinator, uh what changes? Obviously he was a different position group for you, so I don’t know how much you’ve even worked with him, but like what changes for the defense? Nothing changed. Chuck a good guy. He talked to everybody in the room. So everybody’s comfortable with him, his style, uh, he’s carrying over, you know, gave praise to Shane Bowen and, you know, we ready to attack as a defense and play for Choke as well. So is there anything different message-wise? Obviously, he wants to be aggressive just like Shane talked about. Same same mentality, same people in the room, just a, you know, different circumstance, which we all hate, but we got to thug it out and go with it. Sorry. Again, like he a good dude. Everybody talk to Chuck, you know, he real laidback, but he know when to, you know, step in and get guys going and when not to. So that’s what we all appreciate as a player and having a coach like him. You call him Chuck? Yeah, we call him Chuck. Yeah. Going back to the Lions game, I mean, with you shadowing, I guess, like is for something you haven’t done in a while, like is it what’s the process like going through? Is it just kind of mental reps or is it what’s that going back to a role you haven’t really had in the league yet? Um, I watch film all in the same way as if I’m covering everybody. But obviously, like I said, going to the game that was a Sunday adjustment and you know, I had to react to it and go play my game. You’ve said a couple times the idea of, you know, you’re always confident. You’re you’re the player now that everyone else is seeing, you’ve always believed you could be. But it does it surprise you bring that to you? No, not at all. I mean that that they’re noticing what you’ve always known. Nah, cuz I never really put my energy into what somebody think about me. So, you know, do you think about the future at all for you and what it means contractually? No, I’m just trying to be the best corner for our defense right now and be there for my teammates in the situation that we’ve been in. So, and be the best player there is. So, your uh your teammates seem to make a statement on on social media the other day. Did you see that? I did see that. I did. Were you at least surprised by that? Uh, I like my teammates. I like how they rooting me on. Uh, it’s true, but we’ll see how that go. Going back to what I already said about just not thinking about free, I guess. How do you try to avoid those kind of conversations? Obviously, it how do you try to avoid those those thoughts, those conversations? Just by going and playing every Sunday. You know, people could be high on you one day, they’re low on you the next day. Uh, I just try to take one day at a time. Stay off the social media interaction divide it and finish the season strong.
