I already watched this movie in LA
Nope, we are going to destroy the Bills
So damn true
The Bills are going to do what every other team does against us. Get the ball out quickly so back up tackles don’t matter and then chip TJ any time they don’t plan on getting it out quickly.
As long as the Steelers don’t try to be big brained and stick to running cover 2 (like they did against the Colts and Bengals), they should be able to force Josh Allen to hold onto the ball. He’s a monster of a human so getting him down is another story.
And you think that we’re going to change our scheme to take advantage of that?
I have Josh Allen in fantasy football and still going to use him instead of Caleb Williams.
Not to be a doomer, but I feel like the Steelers only play well against healthy teams. Any sign of weakness or any reason to discount a game seems like it just tells Tomlin & the team to not prepare for the game at all.
Can’t wait to watch yet another maddening game of “why the hell don’t we have any defensive scheme but cover 2”
I don’t know what game you guys watched when we played LA, but Herbert was sacked 5 times and pressured in like 50% of his passes. I don’t know why everyone is pretending we couldn’t get pressure. We didn’t lose because of pass rush. We lost because Aaron Rodgers played the worst game of his career, which gave the chargers a 15 minute ToP advantage.
I thought the Steelers would win in a similarly surprising way to the colts game but with this news I know now we’re going to lose
Take a Bills TE to score a Touchdown with your mortgage for the next 30 (50?) years.
Hopefully it’s a good game on Sunday
Yesterday was great for both of our teams
Legend has it, that since we never targeted the middle of the field with practice squad LBs playing against us, we will not be passing rushing these practice squad lineman at all this week.
The fact people are talking about this is a bad sign for the Steelers. It seems like anytime people start talking about some perceived advantage for the Steelers it just backfires and blows up in the team’s face. I hope TJ et al find some success this time.
It’s been the same issue of taking advantage of these opportunities. I remember years ago Miami literally had 5 backups on the oline one week we played them, they never had any regular season starts together. We didn’t get any sacks
“They have backup OT so we only have to rush 4 we will surely get to Allen. And don’t worry about contain. Let’s also play single high safety. We won’t know where the other 6 guys will be but don’t put them near the middle of the field, as we know, nobody ever throws there it’s too risky.”
We are going to lose every game to non AFC north opponents, and probably most of those too. But the non afc north ones will be due to us not really trying. That’s the game at this point with most teams in the division, even the browns arent mathematically eliminated technically. That’s how bad the division is this year.
Teryl Austin: So they’re down to their backup tackles and Gabe up 9 sacks 10 days before? I’ll do the opposite of what they’re expecting, because they’ll never expect it!
Cornerbacks in Off Coverage, Cover 3 Zone (which Josh Allen exploits with ease), No Stunts, and no mixing underneath Zone Coverage in. But I will blitz blitz blitz blitz with PQ who definitely won’t run past Josh Allen and let him run for a big gain…

Texans game 2 years ago
We have a scheme to deal with this.
