you guys down in the third there. It just seems like you were doing anything you could to create chances and you and Ro got on the same page for a couple. Yeah, we were desperate and uh I mean we had to do that and we got it done and unfortunately weren’t able to close it out. And then as you’ve done this all year, I think your second and third period scoring, what has been the key? I know a lot of that time you have been playing desperate, but you also been able to cash in as a team. Yeah. Yeah. Well, I mean, kind of been like that theme where we’re trailing most of the season. So, I guess it’s all just relative. Does it give you confidence knowing that you can continually build strong thirds if you do dig yourself into a hole a little bit? Yeah, I mean it shows that we’re never out of it. Um I mean you know we lose one of our you know best players um for the game so other guys had to step up and and make plays and contribute um and and then they did and just disappointing we couldn’t get it done on the power play there. How big does the net look to you right now with the streak that you’re on? Same as it did earlier in the season. Yeah, just just going in now. Just some sometimes that’s just how it works over the course of the season. Yeah, just how it works. And hopefully he continues. The shootout is so close. I mean, you had a nice one. Tyler hits a post. It’s just it’s a hard thing to do. It’s shootout. I mean, you know, you just don’t know. You’re super happy afterwards and you win. You’re you’re devastated. You lost. It’s, you know, it’s one of those things. Um, obviously want to win. We’re, you know, Sier goes in, we’re happy. It is what it is. So, I mean, you know, we’re not going to feel sorry for ourselves. We lost in a shootout, but there’s definitely things in the reg in the 65 minutes beforehand that we could clean up to maybe not get there. So, um, but you know, we give yourself a chance and we move on. How big for Casey when Kulie has been playing so well and I mean obviously you guys have so many chances in the first period and then he kind of stands up and let you get back in the game. Yeah. No, he uh Yeah, he we knew he was going to be sharp tonight. Um, I mean, laterally made some big stops. Um we uh he kept us in it, gave us a chance um walk away to the point. Perfect. Thank you. What’s it like in the third period? How do you stay calm? How do you come back? Yeah. Uh obviously we had a lot of chances today, but uh second periods have been tough for us lately. So, but uh was good. We came back and tied it, but uh of course it’s not good cuz we didn’t win the game, but at least at least we came back and tied the game. What has been in the second period? I know it’s a long change. It just it does seem like a you know a few in a row here where it’s really been lopsided. Yeah, I think uh sometimes we maybe take couple too many penalties and then we lose the rhythm of the game, but uh I don’t know. It’s hard to hard to tell what’s what’s the like the reason for that. And then what was the chemistry with Jason there in the final few minutes? Yeah, he made a nice play. Uh we actually talked about that play a couple times. during that uh game and retried it a couple times. Uh we just didn’t connect and then in the end we connect finally. So yeah, it was a great play. Was that just a case, you know, their goalie was was pretty hot just firing as many shots as you can until you got one. Yeah. Uh yeah, their goalie played good today. Like our first first power play today, we had I think four really good looks and he got all of those. So yeah, I give a little credit for him as well today. What was the overtime like? It was four on four mostly. So, it was a little bit weird. Yeah, I think it was four on four the whole time. So, yeah. Uh not that that many looks I think or like there’s not that much room than three on three. So, yeah. I don’t know. Thank you. Obviously don’t want to be putting ourselves in this situation. Um, that’s hockey right now for for some reason. And I like the way we’re battling back. Um, and we don’t want to give teams uh power play opportunities. Every every team’s got a good power play. Um, you know, they got a couple tonight and um would like a different result obviously. Do you like the fact like I mean it’s obvious obviously positive that you were able to come back and get a point out of this one with the big third period. Yeah. Um like uh we’ve been doing it all year. Um you know finding ways to to battle back. Um you know so that’s a positive in our game. Generally speaking you guys have been pretty controlled but there were a couple of bad penalties. What do you do what do you talk about when you get situations like that to stay disciplined I guess? Yeah. I mean, we’re um guys aren’t going out there trying to take down the leaders and um we try to do a better job as a team to not put ourselves in those situations. And then Casey, how about coming in in a game like this? Um rock solid once again. Um he’s been playing great hockey all year and um you know, had another great game. And Robertson, you know, seeing seeing him, he’s been on quite of a streak for you guys lately. Yeah, he’s uh he’s pretty hot right now. Um it seems like everything he shoots is he’s going in the back of the net. Thank you. So, good point, bad point. How do you dice all that up? Uh you know what? Um we’ll we’ll take the point. You know, anytime you I thought both goalies were fantastic. Um, when you lose especially team game, uh, I think we we were 0 for five, they were two for five, you lose it two nothing, it it’s hard. It’s hard in this league to win if you lose it uh, two zip. So, good for us to score the two goals, one late and uh, take it to overtime, but uh, yeah, it was uh, you know, goalending and PP and PK are the big three big part of the big four and and they had that tonight. You mostly were four on four in the overtime. Was that weird? And with your defensive depth, you were having to use players like Bisho and Petravic and just have to go as as deep as you can. Yeah, we we we are. You know, we we like it when you know, we pushed it to a shootout and uh we liked our chances there, but then again, I said both goalies were good and and uh shootout’s anyone’s game. I imagine you’ve been asked this a fair bit, but Heisen played over 30 minutes tonight. What kind of a luxury is it have defensively game you can just roll out and roll out and roll out? Yeah, it’s it’s it’s you know, he’s such an effortless skater. So, it’s you know, there’s handful of guys in the league that can handle that kind of minutes and uh from time to time uh just with overtime he got up into that 32. So, uh and then obviously the late power plays that he’s on. So, his his minutes pushed up, but you know, we got a day off tomorrow. We knew that. Uh we got to practice on Monday. So, um you know, we’re trying to get any point we can. How do you see the rant and hit and potential and whatever? Yeah, the league’s going to look at it. Um, you know, he’s tracking back there. I know he’s committed to hitting him and um, you know, it it it’s unfortunate. Hope he’s okay. I know he got a cut in the nose and he played and um, he turns at the last minute, it’s hard to stop, but you know, the league’s going to look at it and they’ll they’ll decide. They’ve seen enough of those hits. Thank you.
