Penguins’ Kris Letang Notches OT Winner In Tight vs. Blue Jackets

Shacked hard into the glass by Pearl Brav and Penelli sifted out of there. It comes loose to the circle. The setup here in front Latang and he scores. 59 seconds into overtime. It’s Chris Latang to win it for the Penguins four to three. Yeah, the Penguins come all the way back here at Nationwide Arena and get it done. Two goals from Crosby. And you talked about vintage players. Well, we’ve talked about it all night long. Jarry is held down the court for his team and a little give and go. And Latang here, this is the battle that gets it done. Latang, a smart play there as he gets on the inside of Penelli. You want to create a two-on-one, but it’s a man-on-man situation. And that twoon-one Latang in front of the net puts it away here for the Pittsburgh Penguins. [Music]

Pittsburgh Penguins defenceman Kris Letang scores the game-winning goal in overtime to sink the Columbus Blue Jackets and complete his team’s comeback victory.

  1. After hitting the crossbar on a breakaway against Seattle, Letang comes through tonight and buries it this time in OT yet again to give the pens their first OT win of the year!! Bang bang Kris Letang let’s go pens on a little streak here keep it up bois

  2. Why did they not give Malkin the secondary assist on this goal? I’ve noticed they have withheld a few assists from Malkin this year. Very strange I hope they fix this
