Does #MikeTomlin’s winning record mean ANYTHING?

So Mike Tomlin and the Steelers have not had a losing season in 21 seasons. To show you how little that means, in that same stretch, 21 seasons, 60 NFL teams with winning records missed the playoffs. Winning record doesn’t mean anything. It doesn’t guarantee anything. Let me give you four or five teams that in 21 seasons have had losing seasons. The Chiefs, Philadelphia, Rams, Tampa Bay, the Patriots. You know who has the longest streak in the NBA of not having a losing season? The Clippers.

  1. Consistency Steelers hurray off season acquisition not enough big names to change their fate. Unlike all the rest of the franchise who win rings . Steelers are outstanding at winning reg season but poorly built to win postseason 8-11 win& loses Mike Tomlin . šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø see why eagles giggle at western Pennsylvania Steelers.

  2. Tomlin sucks !!! He inherited a great team and rode cowers coat tails…Cowers last 3 years (2004,2005,2006) when he drafted Big Ben were 15-1…11-5….8-8 and won a Super Bowl then they fired him. ….tomlin has done much worse and he’s still there. They are afraid to fire him.

  3. The Steelers are the most woke lib organization in professional sports. The only thing they care about is that Tomlin is not white. He will have a job for the rest of his life if he wants it.

  4. Worst take of the year, the day we stop rewarding wins is the day this all means nothing. Steelers have a GM problem not a coach problem. No one has ever looked at a Steelers locker room and said they should be getting more out of it.

  5. I still belive the draft needs to be year one you can get any pick! Year two if you got the one pick you will need to wait 32 years to be eligible and you can pick depending on draw anywere 2 through 32. So every year you have a new pick placing

  6. I keep saying this. Colin's takes are NEVER "in the middle". No matter how long his reasonings are, NEVER
"in the middle ". Hes either gonna be TOTALLY right, or COMPLETELY WRONG.

And yea he completely wrong here! šŸ˜…šŸ˜…šŸ˜…

  7. Tomlin and the Steelers are a weird case. Yes—-winning seasons forever. He has a Super Bowl ring early as a HC. But man…..most times you just know they are losing in the 1st or 2nd playoff game. And Tomlin’s coaching tree literally has no branches——that seems incredibly strange to me….to be the HC of the Steelers for over 20 years and not one assistant all that time has become a HC anywhere.

  8. It’s one of the worst divisions in football, he’s also went 8-8 in multiple seasons which some would consider winning, or not a winning season. 1 Super Bowl in 21 seasons like what’s the point of the topic

  9. What it does for you is guarantee that you will never have a decent draft pick to allow you to rebuild. That's it. Mediocrity breeds mediocrity. The Patriots suffered through several horrible seasons after the Brady era. They took the opportunity to purge the team of aging stars and use the resulting draft picks to infuse the team with new, young talent. They are competing for the number one playoff spot in the AFC this year. Meanwhile, the Steelers, year after year, are obsessed with the "win now" fantasy, even when it means getting older, resigning, and bringing in new players past their prime. They will never win another Superbowl that way. They need to suck it up and follow the example set by other teams who have rebuilt. Take your lumps. Trade aging stars for draft picks. Use those picks wisely. They are always thinking of today when it is time to think about tomorrow. I, like all Steelers fans, love TJ. He is a Steel City hero! But can you imagine the picks we could have gotten if we had traded him rather than resigning? He is 31. His brother retired at 33, after a few years of declining return. You have to make tough decisions.

  10. So to discredit a black coach, you gonna tell me that losing is better than winningšŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚ these Talking Heads come up with new ways to show their retardation every day

  11. The Steelers fan base acts as if they are still a perennial title contender and that hasnt been the case in over a decade. They havent won a title in 16 seasons. They have 2 titles in almost 50 seasons! Let them have winning seasons forever, they aint winning the last game of the year.

  12. Well, more winning seasons means more playoff trips means more shots at Superbowl. So yeah, winning seasons matter. But this is the clown who said the chiefs were the best team in the nfl a week ago.šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚
