Well shit… who they gonna bring up?….Gatcomb?
First NHL player to get an assist while leaving the ice with an ACL tear.
Damn… that really sucks. First Romanov and now Palms.
Do we tank for another top pick or make a move?
This team is going to be exciting soon I’d hate to botch that. Maybe go for the right free agent if it’s there
FUCK
The first thing I thought of is this just cost the Islandwrs a 1st or second round draft pick in a trade. The islanders are still sellers not buyers. Next year they can try for a run.
Brutal
Just had a bad feeling he tore it when they showed the replay of him holding the back of it.
Well fuck. Not exactly a guy whose scoring is replaceable internally.
My 2 cents: islanders will elevate Tsyplakov and Shabanov a bit to fill the gap. If that doesn’t work expect them to give Joey Larson a shot based on his good play in the AHL this year.
Fuuuuuckkkkkk
Damn. Could very well never really come back from this and he was already showing his age this year
Oh that’s awful. That could be the end of his career.
Barzal still recovering from his knee issue. Romanov Pageau and now Palmieri.
What more can you take from me
(Don’t answer that question)
Gonna be tough for a guy Palms’ age to come back from that at all. That’s rough for the team
They’re dropping like flies
Damn we’re falling apart bit by bit. Not just a scorer but a leader we can’t afford to lose.
Some are saying he’s just dodging the Caps
Gavin McKenna is back on the menu?
Well… fuck
And here i was hoping he could be traded for young talent
Ouch. Really just hope that’s not career ending. He’s been exactly the type of guy you need in the locker room, and true leader on/off the ice. Never could knock his effort – and showed by even picking up that assist.
If it’s a career, I could see him making a move into (assistant) coach.
Ouch, get well soon Palmieri 😬
One of the most legendary ways to go out in hockey history. Put that play on a TV in the HoF
