5. It’s the Browns fault. They openly said it was a qb competition. People thought it was such, however, there are reports internally Kevin was among those that wanted Shedeur to redshirt this year effectively. 

   Kevin probably doesn’t hate Shedeur, but he is clearly not his guy, and Kevin isn’t a fan of QBs with big confident personalities like Baker Mayfield. 

   DG has always been less talented than Shedeur, but Kevin is more comfortable with him as a player and person. That comfort might have gotten him fired. He was comfortable losing with DG than the chance of winning with Shedeur. 

   Or this is all a covert tank job and they knew Shedeur’s upside. Which is still dumb. Shedeur if he is successful is the Browns Brock Purdy (super cheap qb) effectively fixing the super expensive qb on the books problem and allows the Browns to build up every other position in the draft and free agency.
