Brady Tkachuk, Fabian Zetterlund, Shane Pinto, Travis Green Postgame Media vs STL
Brady, first off, uh, what did you see from your team’s game here in this one tonight? Uh, I mean, it was honestly it was just nice to get nice to get back. It was just trying to, um, no play and and not kind of overthink uh, anything, but uh, it’s it’s a game where I don’t know, go got the lead going into the third period, so got to find a way. What did you see maybe on your line specifically with Dylan and with DB that was able to generate opportunities in the offensive zone? H I think we’re all uh you know power forwards and want to get to the net and kind of find those little pockets in the ozone and uh um know I liked some of the looks and um it was you know nice to play with some great players and and hopefully build off that. How do you feel? You kind of mentioned getting back and just kind of getting your touches in. How did you feel out there in this one? Ah would have felt a lot better with the win. Um but uh yeah just I mean it’s just nice to get back. Grateful to be back playing again. Just disappointed with the result. Brady I know is focused on the season everything NBC and St. Louis, you’re going to have a lot of folks from here rooting for you in a couple of months. Just the Olympic dream. How long has that been something that you’ve been thinking about? I mean, it’s you always dream of, you know, the Stanley Cup and and uh you know, after you watch Miracle, you dream of winning the uh the gold medal. So, um you know, that’s something that’s a couple months away. There’s, you know, a lot of hockey be played, but uh know it’s a dream come true and uh uh you know, great opportunity in a couple months. Not everybody gets to play in the Olympics with their brother. Just how much more special is that going to make it? I mean it’s um you know Four Nations was special and and uh um you know a great experience and something that uh you know being able to play the Olympics for your country is uh something that we never really expected but uh we’re going to take full advantage of. Final thought the passion of foreign nations we saw it on display. How much are did you enjoy that and do you anticipate that kind of passion being alive in in Italy? I mean, it was one of the best experiences in my uh no hockey world and um yeah, I mean um as great as it was, it’s uh no, it’s the Olympics, so expect to take it up another level. Uh I mean um think we can can do a better job. I mean, we we have the go we have the game, but uh um yeah, like we saw out there, uh we gave it away, but now we do a good push to try to tie it up. Uh yeah, it’s it’s too late. what flipped maybe in the third period, a tight checking game up to that point before the Blues put three on the board in the third. Uh yeah, when we fuel their offense there, they’re going to score. So, um it’s not it’s not good. What do you see from Brady on your line with Dylan? Uh what impact maybe did he have uh on that line with you? Oh, yeah. He he was great. Uh first game back, obviously, it’s tough, but I think he did a great job. He moved his feet, he used his body uh protecting the puck. So, yeah, good job. You see from your team in this one here tonight? a tight second game to the third. Yeah, just not good enough. I think uh bad start in that third there. We had a good opportunity going into the third uh on on the road and just a little bit of immaturity and uh yeah, just didn’t get the job done. What maybe flipped specifically in your team’s game going into the third period? Yeah, I just thought we were kind of on our heels. We didn’t really uh attack, didn’t play with detail, and it bit us in the in the ass. So, what what’s the challenge maybe against a tough Blues team like this one to create in the offensive zone uh throughout the entirety of the game? Yeah. No, I didn’t think that was a problem. I thought we had some good ozone time, but um yeah, when we’re on the ozone, we got to be a little bit more detailed and play some good defense and yeah, just a couple slip ups and they put in the back of our net. Brady back. Maybe what you see from his game here tonight. Yeah, I mean, he’s so good around the net, always causing chaos. uh just creating so much space for his linemates and uh it’s definitely nice to have him back and uh he’s just going to keep getting better and better. Sweet game here tonight. Well, I thought I I saw 40 minutes that I didn’t mind our hockey uncharacteristically. I thought we got careless and didn’t play with enough urgency in the third period. What maybe flipped in the third period specifically from your team’s game here? Well, we turned over a couple pucks. We didn’t pay attention to certain details that we usually do and it was unfortunate because our goalie gave us a game and uh should have at least got a point or a win out of this game.

That was a glittering spectacle of feces.
why are we asking brady about the olympics on his first day back wtf lol
100% agree with Green what he said at the end there Leevi gave as a hell of a game and the rest of his team were careless and didn't play with enough urgency in the 3rd. Well said coach. Your going up against a great Dallas Stars team tomorrow expecting a way better effort from the boys especially in the 3rd.
You just can't play like that when the whole league knows you were over at the family house the night before. There has to be some plausible deniability…
Leevi didn't deserve that game and neither did the fans who've stayed engaged on this extended expedition — boys haven't played at home in a while and are not looking like they are "working harder than their competition and caring more." Some fun efforts on the ice, shout out Manti, but leadership was missing before the game even started. GSG
