Maybe it’s just the type of person I am but I’ll never understand why you would leave a team as a coordinator when you’ve found success. You still make more money in one year than most people will make in their life, you’ll never need to worry about money again. Why not just stick with a team and keep having successful season after successful season? Maybe it’s a personal fulfillment thing? Maybe being a coordinator isn’t fulfilling? I have a hard time believing winning Superbowls isn’t fulfilling though regardless of the role you play. I wish Kellen stayed 😭
I struggle to understand why being a 2-9 HC with the worst cap situation in the league is better than winning (or coming very close to) B2B super bowls
He got a potentially once in a lifetime chance to be a HC.
You don’t pass that up.
We should have promoted KM and sent Sirianni to New Orleans.
Sirianni begged him during the Super Bowl speech lol
Anybody saying we should’ve fired Nick for Kellen after the Super Bowl has the smoothest of brains
Honestly don’t understand why he jumped at the saints job. One more year and he prob could’ve had his pick of some better situations
Some of you are really stupid. Kellen Moore was already a hot coordinator once and then his star lost its luster and he missed out on head coaching jobs years ago. He rehabilitated his image in Philly and was not about to miss out on a head coaching job again. Why in God’s name would he have turned the saints job down?
Dude been eyeing a hc position for years. He finally has a chance. We say this bc we’re fans. If he was my friend or peer I would definitely tell him to take the hc position. If he flames out you can go back to be coordinators.
Maybe if he stayed one more year he’d have gotten a more lucrative gig instead of coaching a 2-9 team in cap space hell
Baby come back…
Should be Steichen or Reich in the photo, but he would certainly be an improvement
I wanted Kellen as HC after Doug was very happy he came as OC…
given how 2025 has played out, do you guys think it would be better to have moved on from Sirianni if it meant keeping Kellen Moore?
I wonder if Baltimore fires their OC Monken as a scapegoat.
