Canadiens vs. Avalanche | NHL Highlights | November 29, 2025

We’re 30 years in the making and we’re ready
to rumble. McKenna will take the opening draw against Suzuki. Captain for the Canadians
and we are underway as it’s popped back to Devonte. Finds Macaves to the red line. Sweeps
it ahead. Rejected by the Canadians picked up by Suzuki. Trying to let Boo get on side. It’s
whipped around by Cfield. Down the boards is no adoption. finds Suzuki all the way to the
point across again for Dobson with a long wrist shot knocked away by Blackwood. Abs try
to get it out through the legs of Marty Nas who got knocked down but McKinnon had that one
rolled away from him. Guys, I got to see just a history 31 years nor Canadians. Unreal seeing
these two come together. Evans throws it toward the trapezoid. intercepted by the ABS and
Mars changing up the back end now as well as Josh Manson takes over and I just can’t get
over how good these sweaters look against each other. Landisk rumbling in sent by Novish Adam
Instrom in the game today. Did they come down the wing? Long shot there and a stop by I was
going to say 63 and 200 and you’re the little of the two. Here’s Tay straight away with a long
re shot. Stopped by Novish. Hudson will dish now. Suzuki goal line extended. Gives it up. Hudson
across shot. Saved by Blackwood. It’s B. Back. It comes for Demidov. Gallagher looking on the
far side. Shoots. What a save by Blackwood. Oh, you saw Brendon Gallagher go to the far
side of the crease. He was waiting. Loose puck in the slot. 6 foot four and have spaghetti
string legs. Look at the flexibility. Push. Oh, that’s just spectacular to be able to go to the
top of the crease. Reset and push there. Macar almost gets a stick on it. The veteran Brendan
Gallagher has got to go up under the bar. Black taken by Mars ahead far side and the Nelson
shoots and scores. Brock Nelson puts the abs on the board first. or should I say the Nordics. His
600th career point and the ABS have taken a one- nothing lead for Nelson. His seventh goal of the
season. Center is red hot. 600th career point in the transition on the neutral zone regroup. Kivy
Roza driving the net creating chaos but Leanin. This is a beautiful pass and Nelson it rolls up on
him but he corrals it. He’s no stranger to scoring against the Montreal Canadian Canadians having
played so long with the New York Islanders. Riker and when he has that amount of time so often he’s
able to pick a corners into the circle. Canadians take it away. ABS haven’t had really spent a whole
lot of time yet. Uh-oh. Watch out Anderson down deep. What a save by Blackboard. Another shot of
save by Blackwood. Oh, that pump’s coming across. Instead of beating him, man, he just throws it off
the boards to himself. You can hear everybody in the crowd do the ooh and the haw on that play. Dav
was waiting patiently as springs in down the slop steering pass and it’s not going to be coming up.
The puck is in the back of the net. No way. The abs have scored. It’s a good goal. Knocked off.
It’s Morice. I think the Josh Anderson knocks Gabby and takes out his feet. Obviously, Domesh
is complaining, but you can see here the shot from Marty Das earlier that hits the dasher and
goes about 45 ft in the air. But on this goal, they’re going to have a look and chat about it.
Ross Colton was flying through the neutral zone. Kale Mar hit him in stride. Colton retrieves it
out of his feet. He’s in on a one-on-one here with Ker Riker and he retrieves it, finds Brock Nelson.
And he doesn’t get a ton on this, but I took a lip reading class this summer. Looks like it paid
off. Certainly a challenge on the play. Of course, if this goes against Montreal, ABS are going
to go on a power play. I don’t see there being enough evidence here to overturn this fellas. What
do you think? Well, Riker majored in liberating in college. He took the 101 class. I think they’re
saying that Landisk went into Dobish first, but clearly that’s all that’s all Anderson. I mean, I
I can’t see how this would be disallowed and the F should go on the power play. Well, folks, we’re
only about 53% homers. After coach’s challenge video review, it was determined that it was the
actions of the Montreal player that caused the Montreal. It is a good goal. Cole Cfield so talented. The car staying with him.
It’s given up though. Mat up here. One moving back shot. Look at Blackwood in his blocker. There’s
bodies crashing on the ice all over the place. And Mat Burns scores off the draw. Brett Burns rips
it past and the ABS have taken a three nothing lead. Right off the draw, the big defenseman lets
it fly. This is a faceoff. play. Bro snapping it back to Brent Burns and Gabe Landiskog with
the screen. Very similar to the faceoff play earlier this year in Edmonton between Taves and
Mar walking down Main Street, but Brent Burns unleashing this snapper through traffic. Gabe Lis
through the skates of Luck. Mat pocket picks on the breakaway. Bro Nelson down Broadway. Missing
that rebound pushed wide. Nas is in. A drag move. Nelson shoots and scores. Marty Nas unselfish
finds his teammates and the ABS have taken a four nothing lead. Unfortunately, the crowd here at
Ball Arenas, his second goal is taken away. Well, Nelson has that low blocker. doesn’t elect to
pass it to Nes on a twoon, but Marty Nas says, “Give me time and space.” And you know what,
Rocky didn’t dish it to me, but I’m going to addition to you, B. You You nailed it. The
fans here think it’s a hat-tick. Unfortunately, Riker’s Eagle. I was correct. Gabe Landis go off
the toe of his skate on Nelson’s second goal. But what a beautiful play by Marty Magis. Brock Nelson
appreciates the central versus one on the boards and one in the middle of the ice. A is in. Pops it
off for McKinnon. McKinnon down deep with a shot and a save by Dol. She stood him up as he dumped
that puck in. Off for Minsky. A couple shimies in a shot. Deflected save. Rebound has get to it.
Lannisk had the blade saw right off his stick. He tried the second opportunity and it got chopped
away. Slapovski is in. Cross shot score. Agot looking at the near side and a good play there by
Demov for his sixth of the season. Mo nailed it. Landiskog battling in front. I believe he gets
the tip on this and then as he goes to knock in the rebound, the blade of his stick launches
and Slipovski with a beautiful spinama walking in on Blackwood and feeds Demov back door defending
well. ABS have made a partial change. Nelson back to Molinsky it goes. Works his way back toward
the blue line. Sends it up and out for Laroscope is in. First shot save rebound score. Nathan Mcin
puts it into a wideopen goal mouth after the save. Landisk will get another assist. Fouron four
action. And that’s the old pass shot right off the far right pad by Design. Landisk did this
yesterday in the game against Wild too. Ross Colton couldn’t pick it up. But here Nathan
McKinnon right off the skate to the stick. Designed shot by Landisto. Number 20 on the season
for Nathan McKinnon. What a start. There he is. Set back behind the net now for Thompson.
The defenseman throws it into the crease and the ABS will pick it up. They got a
twoon one coming. Marty Nes with Devonte hustling into the zone. Hes across and TS
it down in front. Score. Tick. Tack the toe. to take the tack to another bucket and go.
Blackwood sealing the post, the strength that allows the abs to break back on when that puck
gets deflected up in the air. Devonte is so smart. Knows that Domesh is there. Wasn’t going to be
able to rip a shot even if he lays it down flat, but fires it back over to Natious. And this might
might have gone off a Mat stick recorder for TA’s first of the year. You can see they just slap.
Coffee gives it away. Coughfield. Now it’s Suzuki. Cfield to Hudson with a shot. He scores. What
an absolute rocket from Lane Hudson. You can see he had moved over much like he did in
the first period when he fed it back door and then he backs off and this is put on
a tea. I don’t think Blackwood sees this right here. You can see Bartikov is going to
block it. I believe it might have deflected off of Yan Stazzy staying at our house last
night. I I did throw out the ask of would Pistol Pete ever want to jump on the broadcast
for Nordique’s evening? Probably not. McKinn land on the redirect. his second goal of the
game. It’s a power play goal. The ABS have busted it wide open again. His fifth and he’s certainly
finding himself in a big time way. Well, and I can see from my angle here, McKinnon was not shooting
obviously to score. In fact, that puck was going wide by design, but Gabe was hitting so perfect
he thought the odds of that deflection are good enough for me to throw it towards the net. How’s
the chemistry coming back for these two guys? What a great little shot. Pass deflection. Here’s
Burns out to Nelson. One-time saved by Dometric. He’d like to have one. Tries to stuff it in
front. Shot. Save by Dome. What a great loose P. Kare one of the net. His first unit just
keep piling on the goals. Although the second unit did a pretty great job as well. Vardikov
trying to slide it. Alinski very appreciative as the ads remain unbeaten in regulation on
the home ice moving to 100 and2. Two to go, one to go and that’s going to do it. Today, the
Avalanche dispatch the Montreal Canadians 7-2.

  1. Can New Jersey wear the Colorado Rockies uniforms from before their move (yes, the name was later taken by the baseball team) and play the Colorado Avalanche wearing the Quebec Nordiques uniforms? WITH the scoreboard Being Colorado vs Quebec, please? That would be crazy confusing.

  2. Holy shiat! This took me back to the mid-1980s. My girlfriend's dad had seats RIGHT by the band. About 5 seats away from the home team's bench in Quebec City.
When they checked someone on the band, and it was close, it took the wind out of you.
I love the Nordique touch when playing the Canadiens. It's a cool gesture.

  3. Asking any professional athlete to travel from sea level to 5000 feet above sea level with less than 24 hours to adjust to the altitude is sub-human. Oh and the team your playing has had multiple days to adjust to the altitude like you're supposed to. Whoever made this schedule needs to give their head a shake. NHLPA safety concern in my opinion. Lucky no one on Montreal got hurt.

  4. Montreal kid growing up a nordiques fan, stick with them after relocation everytime Ava win a good day for me when the beat the Canadians is double joy, roasting the Montreal Canadians with the Nordiques uniform is like Christmas to me.
    I love it🎉🎉🎉🎉
