Nate Burleson break AFC Playoffs Pickture after Chiefs beat Colts, Ravens crush Jets & Steelers lose

in 23- 20. Got it done indeed. And after the game, it was our Tracy Wolson talking with the team leader. That would be Patrick Mahomes. Well, you guys pulled it out. It was looking bleak there for a little bit. And finally, you went a close one in overtime. Third and seven to Worthy. Take me through that play call and what happened down the stretch. Yeah, I mean, I think it just comes with the full season. You know, Taekquin’s been hitting him deep so much. So, we put Worthy underneath him and then he just made a big play. He won his one-on-one match up, made a big play, and so um big for us. Uh we just got to keep pushing, keep moving forward. Your defense came through as well, but this game in general, the importance of winning it. How would you describe that? Yeah. No, it was extremely important. We just got to get back in into that winning train, man. We got to start putting these wins together. Um but it’s not going to be easy. Even I mean, today wasn’t easy. We got to get back. We got a short week playing on Thanksgiving. Um and it’ll be another tough one. So, I’m just excited to get the get a win and get back on the train. Congrats with the win. We’ll see you in Dallas. Yeah. Appreciate you. Hardest team of football. New Patriots went down to the Bengals and Joe Flacco is going to find out early why this team is pretty special. Marcus Jones going to step in front of this pass to the flat. He’s going to return to 33 yds for the touchdown. But Joe Flackco, he does not flinch. He’s going to bring the Cincinnati Bengals back from 17 yds out. He’s going to find Mitchell Tinsley down the left end. Just drops it right in the bucket right there in a last ditch effort down 2620. Flaco under duress throwing it up for good Tekki but again broken up by Marcus Jones. New England their ninth straight win. They go to 10 and2 with the win of 26-20 in Cincinnati. You see the numbers right there. Drake May again not over 300 but very close to it. Very solid game from him as well. Coach’s word not flinching. New England hasn’t flinched. Yeah, New England, one of the hottest teams still. And credit to Drake May starting off the game. He wasn’t perfect. Actually threw an interception, a pick six, but he settled himself, went back out there, controlled the game, controlled his emotions, cuz sometimes, Matt, as you know, young quarterbacks make a mistake and then things can derail from there. Yeah, I thought his composure was excellent. I thought his usage of the tight ends. Hunter Henry has a big game for New England. Same thing can be said, I think, when you look at this entire AFC playoff picture right here. Kansas City. We watched that game. That huge win to stay in the hunt there at six and five where Houston and Pittsburgh are in that same spot. I just think champions find ways. Champions find ways. The the game did not shake out, I think, the way that Kansas City wanted it to. Right. Coming into it, I think you would have thought we’re going to come out, we’re going to be explosive, we’re going to be effective, but they ran the football. They stayed close in that game, coach, and they dominated and ultimately made plays when they needed to at the end. 41 rushing attempts in this game, second most and Andy Reed error right there. One of six in the red zone. This team in the second half was desperate. Played with a degree of desperation. I look at this as being one of those pivotal moments in their in their in their season. Now they got a short week. They got to go down to Dallas on Thursday, but uh they are still alive. You know what I love? This defense is up for the challenge. Who comes in? A guy who’s been um in the conversation for MVP Jonathan Taylor. Ashton Genty. They held him to 21 yards. Derrick Henry 42 yards. Jamir Gibbs 65 yds. Saquon Barkley 88 yards. Pretty good for Saquon. And today they held Jonathan Taylor 6. The Pittsburgh Steelers going up to the Chicago Bears and who’s in the booth at the time. And again, it was by Caleb. That was the only mistake of the day. They go to eight and three after an 0 and2 start. And Matt and Nate may have argued with coach somewhere along the way, but guess what? Coaching matters. And Ben Johnson afterwards in the locker room. Green on. Here we go. Here we go. Mhm. Good. Better. Good. Back. Never let it rain. Never let it rain. Good gets better. Get better. You better get better. You better get better. Here’s on three. 1 2 3. Got to love it. I don’t know what they said, but I’m feeling it. Lost because the Jets were fighting hard in this one. But the Baltimore Ravens all of a sudden, look who’s leading their division. They win this one 23-10. Well, I you know, I I think we’ve done these two segments. I think the Chicago Bears remind me a lot of the New England Patriots. You’ve got a secondyear quarterback. You’ve got a new head cate uh coach. They’ve been hot in these last eight or nine games of the season. They’re winning it with the run game and good defense taking the football away. The Ravens remind me a lot of the Chiefs. Hasn’t been perfect up until this point, but they’re creeping back into the picture. Now they’re leading the division. Good win for Baltimore. You know, we have to keep in mind that Caleb Williams is still learning the playbook. I want to remind everybody that Ben Johnson just got there this off season. So game by game, he’s getting more comfortable. And listen, as football minds, we can see it. Like it is evident in his play. Not just how he’s delivering the ball downfield, but his comfort in the pocket. I mean, just look at him today. We’re talking three touchdowns. The key there though, zero interceptions, 19 for 35. I could care less about uh completions and attempts. It’s just the simple fact that he’s taking care of the ball and making big plays down the field. And the sack for the fumble with the safety he had was the only error he had on the whole day. And and talking about the the Baltimore Ravens, they’re they’re not playing great. No, but they’re winning the football game. Yeah. And there’s a lot to be said. We’re seeing a team that they know how to play. Week 12, the tale is old as time. Aaron Rogers against the Chicago Bears. He has dominated them during his time in the NFC North. 25 and five all while with the Pack. So maybe the only thing that can stop him versus Chicago today is himself. because of that broken left wrist. Officially listed as questionable for the 100 pm Eastern time kick from Chicago. And that is where we find Dan Graciano from Soldier Field. Good morning to you, Dan. Great to see you. Simply put, what more can you tell us about Roger status for today? Hey, Gary, they are going to take this up to game time just about. At some point this morning, the Steelers will make a determination about whether Aaron Rogers or Mason Rudolph will start at quarterback. From what I was told last night, it’s going to come down to Aaron Rogers comfort level with that left wrist. He was able to practice a little bit Thursday and a little bit more on Friday with a brace on that left wrist. They want to make sure that he is comfortable taking a snap from under center. They want to make sure he’s comfortable handing the ball off with his left hand. If he falls, they want to make sure, you know, he’s okay bracing himself with that hand uh and can keep himself safe. Well, what I was told last night is it will come down to Aaron Rogers comfort level and how he feels today and they’ll base the determination on that. If it’s Mason Rudolph, I don’t think the Steelers game plan changes a whole lot. Still going to want to run the ball and take advantage of a very banged up Bears defense, but Aaron Rogers would love to play one more game against the Bears and I think he’s going to spend a lot of the morning trying to talk the Steelers into it. 25 and five all time against those Bears. Mason Rudolph has thrown for 139 yards in one score in three games this season. That is Dan Graciano joining us this morning on Sports Center and maybe fellas over there. He’s got to be comfortable mentally knowing the Bears are going to come for that wrist. Yeah. All right, more on the Bears here with Herm Edwards. Coach, what is your message for Chicago today? Real simple. Caleb Williams, why not show everyone why the Chicago Bears NFC North, they’re in first place right now? And Caleb Williams and this Bear team is playing really good. find a way to beat the Pittsburgh Steelers at home. That would be a nice little present for the Chicago Bear fans, wouldn’t it? It sure would. Meanwhile, these Patriots are looking to win nine in a row. What’s the word for Drake May? Drake May, show everyone why not beat the team that you’re about to play. You know why? Cincinnati. And here’s the deal. Drake May, believe it or not, is leading the league in passing percentage and in yards right now. Drake May, that quarterback, the New England Patriots, that’s your guy. So, why not win nine straight? How about that? And he’s not just dinking and dunking. These aren’t just layups throwing the ball down the field. Yeah. He’s he’s pushing the football down the field. All right. Chiefs are holing uh holing hosting the Colts. What are you telling Kansas City? Well, Kansas City is real simple. If you’re the Kansas City Chiefs and you’re Patrick Mahomes, why not get out of this rut and get the ball to who? Travis Kelce and win a football game cuz you’re five and five. You have no room for error right now if you’re the Kansas City Chiefs. And you have to This is a mustwin for the Kansas City Chiefs. And by the way, their defense is playing real good and Daniel Jones has turned the ball over already seven times. Yeah. So get after it. Okay. All right. Let’s keep it out, West. Big one in the NFC. Rams and Bucks tonight. What is your message to the Rams at home? It’s real simple. The MVP, Matthew Stafford. Why not show why you are the MVP? 27 touchdowns already. He’s got Adams back. He’s got Puka back. This is a highflying offense. And they have a really good defense, too. So, Matthew Stafford, show out. Show everybody why you’re the MVP. Okay. Meanwhile, the Bucks, you reminded people earlier in the show, still very much in first place. Baker Mayfield expected to get Chris Godwin back. If the Bucks are going to get this win out west, it’s been a tough road for them. Tough schedule. How do they do it? Well, it’s real simple. Baker Mayfield has to play off schedule. That’s when he becomes a problem to defensive when he can make the unannounced play. And Baker Mayfield’s a competitive guy. Remember, long ago, he used to play for that team, didn’t he? I mean, oh, he played in the Rams. Yeah. How about that? He did. Yeah. How about that? And he started against the Raiders like 3 days after he got into town and he beat the Raiders. And you’re bringing it up cuz I’m a Raider fan. I love coach. I love coach. I’m just saying. I’m just saying. Remember, the Raiders are still playing with two patches. When they play with one patch, they’ll be a lot better. They’re playing okay right now. That makes it tough. Let’s go back over to Gary. Why not? Let’s say what’s up to ESPN. Aaron Dolan. It’s time we roll with Dolan. EKD. Great to see you this morning. We’re going to start with your Eagles visiting the Cowboys and then she appears. Boom. Like magic. What do you like in that game? Eagles. Cowboys. EKD. I’m looking at Dak Prescott to go under 11 and a half rushing yards. The Eagles have been very good at limiting him. He sit under this mark in nine of 14 career games against the birds, including week one where he only had one carry for three rushing yards. Now, in that week one matchup, his rushing yards prop was at 6 and a half. Now we’re seeing it at 11 1/2.

  1. Am I the only person that thinks that Rashee Rice dropping to the ground like a ragdoll in overtime on the 10 yard line with a chance to score a touchdown is a fix? Itโ€™s just so convenient to go from potentially winning by seven to winning by three and not covering shit. Please explain to me why Rashee Rice did not want to score an overtime touchdown. Those are the moments you live for as a player and he just said โ€œNa. glory to the kicker.โ€ and with that decision, he conveniently make sure that they only win by three.

I mean these guys get bonuses for performances throughout the season. There was absolutely 0 GOOD reason why he didnโ€™t at least ATTEMPT to score

  2. Wonโ€™t lie I watched only a little bit of the chiefs game and I seen some pretty bullshit calls favoring the chiefs I like mahomes and all but those calls def helped them win

  3. The nfl has always been rigged like this. It would be better for the Super Bowl to be cancelled or have the chiefs, patriots, eagles and rams brutally massacred and have a full-scale concert with diversity instead. There is nothing to live for.
