Rough night, power play continues to be really bad as does our goalie pull. I still am not sold on Bear being the problem, but man am I done with the power play coach.

Another disappointing loss. Hope Cooley is alright. Offensive effort tonight was… lacking
something has gotta change here. Boys look defeated before the game even starts. Everyone is trying too hard to over correct the errors and everyone was too scared to let the shots go. 8 shots over 2 periods? where’s the aggression we started the season with. Hopefully Cooley just had a knee to knee stinger and comes out ok because hes largely been the best player we’ve had this season.

These guys have zero give-a-shit. No urgency. No determination. No physicality. No shooting. Players on opposing teams never have to pay a price for anything against our team. Catch a pass standing still on the boards? It’s ok we’ll let you make the pass. It’s terrible.

That sucked majorly. Hopefully Cooley is all good and doesn’t miss any(/much) time. I wish they could’ve grabbed a dub for the Keller family coming out all things considered. Really sad game all around, damn.
The boys need to shoot the puck more, stop looking for that perfect pass/play. One would be amazed at the amount of goals that could happen if they shoot more instead of trying to wait for the perfect opening or pass.
My thanksgiving beer mile had more effort and was way more exciting than tonight’s game.. hope cooley is okay.
I want to die. That was one of the worst games I have ever suffered through. We’re supposed to be a playoff team with that much anemic fight on a free major after losing our star young player and arguably the future leader of the team? Christ, fire the coaches into the sun, especially the special teams coach. I really don’t care if we are #1 on the PK if we can’t fucking convert power plays into points ever.

This team needs a a major shake up. It’s said in hockey that a GM owes a coach a trade before firing the coach. I think that’s where we’re at, a big trade. Something needs to change. We’re 1 loss away from being the 5th worst team in the league right now. On our 7 game win streak if we had gone 6-1 (which is still amazing) we would be in the basement of the league. Power play is so bad I’m lacking the right words to describe it. Offense looking completely uninspired game after game except for individual skill plays that sometimes work. What happened to the team, coach, GM, and team media that was hyping up playoffs or bust all summer? We’re closer to a good draft pick than playoffs. That 7 game win streak is our saving grace, but as we play more games and the sample size gets bigger, it’s clear that we are just a bad team.
Anyone else bothered by how Sergachev just kinda lazily skates around half the time? Dude has no urgency for anything. And don’t get me started on the bad passes and puck handling.
This team is not a playoff team – period.
Why was Hayton on the 4th line?
They dont win any battles on the boards, not moving their legs the way other teams do, terrible body language, horrendous 2nd periods (tonight wasn’t as bad but still the deciding factor), everyone seems to be gun shy with the puck scared to pull the trigger or overthinking it, when they do shoot its through a crowd of legs or from a non dangerous area on the perimeter, terrible goaltending from starter and backup (great effort tonight but was wasted), no real flow to their offense just wiring pucks back.and forth around the boards until they turn it over, lacking physicality, cant play from behind, cant play with a lead, honestly no one seems to any effort besides Peterka and Cooley and welp there goes Cooley. I mean what the hell you just got shutout by a crappy team and by their backup nonetheless.
We need physicality.
I get there was a scrum after the hit on Cools but man someone should have leveled Toropchenko. We can’t just be a finesse team, we’ve got to get some guys who are physical, can hit guys, set the tone of the game and stand up for each other.

Oh my god did you guys see the interview with Clayton after the game? He could barely talk talking about his dad and then started crying at the end and they cut off the interview. That poor guy. ❤️🩹
What’s happened to Schmaltz? 7 games now without a point.
Our team sucks right now and watching them is painful. But it’s still just a “sportsball” I genuinely hope Cools is okay and wish Keller the best with all the real life happening to them and their teammates.
The fact no one dropped 13 at all is beyond me. Teams are watching and know they can take out our stars and only get a small slap on the wrist.
I’m just a simple fab but feel we need to fix the power play.
Sergy needs to shoot from the blue line to draw the defenders out which would open the net front more.
