Our Stinger elf is MIA! We never wanted to get into Elf on the Shelf w/ our kids, but they were bummed not to have a creepy peeper of their own. I researched alternatives and we decided the North Pole Ninjas idea was something we could get behind (the sensei assigns acts of kindness for the kids to carry out in secret). This happened to be the year FOCO released NHL Team Elves (~2022), and they had a CBJ one that was Stinger. Perfect for our hockey loving family! It was a huge hit and it felt good to get a parenting win! All was good until he teleported back to the North Pole in early 2024. Unfortunately, vacay in the off season must’ve been too much fun, and he was MIA last holiday season. Our kids were really bummed despite my best attempts at creating possible scenarios that could be keeping our sensei under deep cover. Sadly, his presence is still elusive, so we are trying to locate a potential replacement. I can’t seem to track one down online, and didn’t have any luck at the Blue Line Shop. Anyone happen to have any suggestions? Worst case we can modify a Stinger plush and I can create a tale to explain the swap, but we’d love one of the actual Stinger Elves.
