NHL Highlights | Canucks vs. Kings – November 29, 2025
against one team. It’s really an incredible number for both of them. Kopitar, of course, has done it all here in LA. The pillar of their hockey club, the winner of two Stanley Cups in the one-goal loss to the Sharks. Here’s Elias Patterson making a move off the boards, getting in front of the forehand, and Forsber stopped him. And then Evander Kane, great drive of the net from Patterson. Starting to be more aggressive, playing more downhill. I think this is going to be looked at here. To me, that looks like the goal yesterday in San Jose, shorty, where the puck is stopped, but it’s across the line. You see Forsber’s pad is deep in the net with the babys onto the puck. Throws one in front. That one off his stick, deflects back to Heronic at the blue line. Phil Heronic with a shot off the glove of Forest. And the Kings have the puck again. Clark looking up ice. Kusme dishes off to Moore who back hands the puck to the corner. Kopitar there against young Tom Beer. Kusme gets it centers. They score. Trevor Moore on the doorstep set up by Andre Kusme and the Kings take a one- nothing lead. This is going to be close at the blue line on the entry and a game of inches again. Patterson has the puck but he walks over top of it. He misses it. doesn’t score at one end and the puck slides under his stick here cuz finds Trevor Moore and two players that have had a slow and I think the Conucks are going to win this. Yeah, they are. That looks like it’s off and so two pucks. After reviewing the play at 1724, the play was determined to be offside. There’s no goal. Besser picks it up at the blue line. Sends Sherwood in keeper. Sherwood with a shot out to challenge with Forsber and he falls on the puck to get the whistle. Plays the puck to the corner. Clark is there. Canucks battle come up with a puck in the LA zone. Now to Ratu does gets a shot away that gave Forward some trouble. The rebound cleared just before Ramaki could get his stick on it. Now here’s Drew Carr. Connects a three over the blue line. Another close entry as Hughes picks up the loose puck. Rishot tipped in. Was that Ratu? It is au. After the review for the coach’s challenge offside, it was determined the play was offside there. Far we have no I’ve never seen this. Jeff Wan and Phil Heronic engaged physically behind the goal. Heronic was a little slow to get up as Lankin and punches that long shot from Mikey Anderson away. best offensive players together, Kee Fiala and Biffield and they are dangerous off the rush. Alex Turkot in to steal a punt, puts it in front, blanking him the save as Cory Perry was right on the doorstep as [Music] Fial quickly had to cop across and Bfield pull out. Kopitar with a shot stopped by Lanka by field back. Kusenco Fiela hanging that one up high off Lanka. 40 seconds to go in the Max Cone length. Here’s Perry back Clark long. Oh, nice save by Lankin on a chip puck. It was deflected down bounced and he got it with the right pad. Lefer to the middle. Armia with a shot blocked. That hurt Joseph who struggles to his feet. Gets a pat on the back from Kefir Sherwood. Now a long shot into the glove of Lankin across for Carlson. Has to hustle to the puck but it comes off the boards right to Cody Cece who drives it all the way down the ice. Came all the way back to the LA blue line. And here’s Heronic cutting in Phil. Heronic shoots and a glove save by Forsber. Forsber with in about 12 minutes. Here’s Kane Gristan. Another glove save. Seeing it all the way was Anton Forsber to make the save for Forsber. Both teams 0 for one. Here’s Kane and tried to settle it in front. That deflected behind the goal. Sone trying to come up with a punt. Here’s Vander to the net. Walker saved by Forsber. Kings break the other one. Kempe and Fiala takes his pass. He’s poke check by Marcus Patterson, but Fiala gets the puck again. Tried to find Kempe. Intercepting is Deander and Son goes off the boards and down into LA territory. Brian Duman to Adrien Kemp on the stick of Kovator. He scores a fortuitous deflection to make it one- nothing. Watch Brian Dumal in here pick up the puck. He’s going to look to his left and then he goes straight up the middle of the ice. The Canucks spread out and that opened up the pass up the middle of the ice. Kempe and Kopitar kind of run together and Kopitar shoots this across his played 20 minutes and 33 seconds yesterday afternoon. That was his third highest ice time of the season. Rick, but he’s not the kind of guy you think it’s going to affect them much. Highfield leads the LA power play back into the Vancouver zone. Fial dishes back one-time Ling in the save off Kempe and he’s able to hang on for the whistle. Chance the one-time off the weak side that Kempe got a lot on. Lankinger with the stop. There’s a shot right off the draw as Trevor Moore testing Lank and he was able to flash out the left leg and battle for the puck on the near side. Perry’s wide open in front now realizing that Drew O’ Conor slid back a bit. Here’s Clark with the long shot rebound. Perry ripped it wide enough to send the puck out. And here’s Kane out of the box with Andrew. Kane scores as the penalty expired. Kane took a lead pass at center. Chance at one end. Doesn’t go. Leads to a goal at the other. Perry has this chance. He just misses the net. That’s a heads up play from O’ Conor as Kane came out of the box. He’s yelling for the puck. Man, I can’t tell you how many times I sat in that box and hoped that this would happen. You come out now, you’re in the clear. And Kane who can really shoot it zips this one by Forsber. Kane scored in Anaheim on the power play. A wristtor that got hit. Meyers in the backside and the to move the puck out. Passer brings it through center. Moving it on Anderson. Brock Ber with a wrist shot off the stick and into the globe. Dumps the puck around. Waiting is Andre Kusme. Dangerous pass. Second on the shift for him and it’s picked off. Heronic wrist shot hit the post. [Applause] Mikey Anderson checked by RT Pays. Carlson shoots and went off the mask on as Lenus Carlson left. Now he rifles it in off the glass. Under a minute to go in the Vancouver power play. One-1 tie. Here’s Besser with room. Brock Besser shoots and a stop by Forsman as Besser had a stick check just while letting that one go. Still got it through to the net. Just pass the 9minute mark. Second period as Hughes carries back in with the pass to Evander Kane. He goes right wide to Heronic. Bouncing puck. Kane it. Here’s Mo trying to get loose. Heronic chasing him. Trevor Moore to the net. Stopped by Len falling back and he’s able to get the whistle. Change it up as the connects. Besser with a shot. Love save. Forsber as Brock Besser curled out of the corner with that wister. dishes to Evander Kane who has the back of the goal in this game. His pass almost intercepted but he got it through. Now Kane’s pass deflects in front. Marcus Person keeps the pucket. Here comes Fial out of the box. Kings back to full strength. Matthew Rogers centers the puck and a shot by Sherwood. Miss rebound attempt by Kane. Tied up and the Kings win possession of the puck but Siss block the ensuing pass and the Canucks able to clear it out. brought back in by Fia. Deno shot off the chest of Lang and Fiala. 20 seconds left in the period. Brock Besser steps in on the left wing, leaves for Hughes. Back down for Besser. Sharp angle shot blocked away by Forsber who wasn’t sure where the puck was. John and Ray with the call of the third. Thank you, Scott. And I would say that the Canucks were pretty impressed with what Nikita Toapilo did in the first two games of this road trip by the game. Basser tried to play that one in. It was gloved down. These two teams will go to overtime. Just one goal each way. Copitar for the King. Face off becomes so critical in these three. Now highfield wins and the Kings will be first to possess the puck. Twice he’s gone down in overtime here and the Kings have a twoon one. Fia with Kee. Fia cuts across. Fia centers he wide. Kemp open net scores. [Music] Patterson has fallen down now. The Kings get out on the two-on-one. Fialis pass is miscued by Biffield and it ends up being a perfect pass to Adrien Kempe. Kempe who signed an 8-year $85 million extension in October, late October, fires, well actually it was in November if I had my months right. He fires this into the empty net and the Canucks are scrambling. They just can’t get back into position. [Music]
Anze Kopitar opened the scoring, Anton Forsberg made 19 saves and Adrian Kempe buried the game-winning goal in overtime to lift the Los Angeles Kings over the Vancouver Canucks 2-1.

Yeah, I think I'm gonna stick to the Whitecaps now.
NO GOAL! 😂 Commander Tankinen is back and right on cue, Canucks lose!
THAT WASN'T A GOAL?!?!?! ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
Finally man like after all of those I almost cried but we got the dub kings nation Let's goooooo. GO KINGS GO GO KINGS GO GO KINGS GO GO KINGS GO
Both teams had goals taken away because of an offside.. those guys behind the bench are sharp
Good try boys love the effort
What a game, lol. That's Canucks 'luck' for you alright. As much as I like Sherwood and Garlic Jr even if we got just one first round pick for either of them I'd be more than happy. Garlic Jr has a new contract and Sherwood has a family on the way and with the way he's playing deserves to be set up for life with a new team and contract. Now that we're getting healthier I hope we go all-in and truly tank like we've never tanked before and end up with a top 3 pick. This team ain't it man, lol.
I barely enjoyed this game honestly, the Sportsnet feed was very glitchy the entire game I was watching.
Kempe…….
Loser points need to be removed from the NHL. Only the very best should make the playoffs
Only the Canucks can have a high stick call missed even after it's reviewed 😂
I smell EP40 haters lurking…
Ep40 falling as always, so many times he has fallen, and the other team comes down and scores or has a scoring opportunity.
I swear watching Peterson carry the puck in the zone in OT just to wipe out both times was hilarious hahahah prime EP40
I don’t know about other people but I couldn’t enjoy this game because it was glitching, freezing, and blacking out. With that said I thought that Pettersson goal should’ve counted, but I guess it was barely touching the goal line…
why the F**k can't Pettersson stay upright.
That goal that Petterson didn't score was eerily like the one that counted against them last game. Well, at least they got a point this time
Shake the loss; reset, refocus, skate on to the next game.
A NHL ref made me go back to bed this morning. I apparently got up offside!
Rebuild keep Quinn Hughes
