71. Tip it on the deflection and Philadelphia draws first blood and they take a one- nothing 
lead. Dangerous r a dangerous rush initially. You see Luke Hughes comes over and there’s the pass 
from D’vorak and really nice quick set of hands from Tippet as he brings that puck to his backand 
and buries it. Beats Marstrom. So Devils don’t quite get back quick enough to give Philadelphia 
the one to nothing lead. Mishkov passes out to Couttoriier. Couttori drives Couturier. Mishkov 
and a big save by Marstrom on the back end. Those stories here at the credential center. Oh, we 
fight for a cure. And you’re right. Getty with a shot that’s chested down by Marstrom as we as he 
got the feed from Gritsuk. Now the Potato, excuse me. Bouncing puck gathered back up. Hamilton with

can’t keep as he lost his stick. Heir brat between the circles. leaves for Nemesis score and the

Remember, anything can happen in Jersey. Excuse me. He sure gets it over. And Nemits, it’s 
Brad who makes the pass and Nemitz rips it up top. He joins the attack as that fourman rush we see 
so many teams and back out to the blue line. The Devils retake with Britzer across the blue line. 
Heaves a shot that’s gloved out of the air by Lar and we got a whistle. Devils looking for a whistle 
and an offensive faceoff, but the Devils do keep Luke Hughes with some room. Rips a shot and a 
save by Lenar and he gobbles up the rebound. Rack climbs the wall, creeps 
up to the top of the circle, stick handles with 15. A deflection 
in front and a big save by Larishir. He’s got Connecti to deal with. He spins. He finds 
Luis with a shot. It’s blocked by Couturier and goes back into the corner. Flyers can’t clear. Now 
it’s going to go up to Sanheim who clears. And now we’ve got a twoon one as out of the box comes 
Philly. And Marstrom makes the save, but then it squeaks through his pads and in. Marstrom 
looked behind him and it’s going to be a goal for Philadelphia. And now it’s two to one. Can’t 
happen. Dano and we’ll see again. We got to take a look at the replay, but right here a good outlet 
pass to Kkne. Devils get caught a little bit. 53 seconds is the time of the goal. was under 
Marstrom and then it looked like Mechov made contact but it doesn’t look like there’s going 
to be review just yet as you could see Sheldon to looking at he he does make contact the question 
will be did he uh marker but I too risky well with a penalty if you get it wrong with a backhand 
and a save by Lar so the Devils get back to work five on five for the second time they’re

Rebound trickles wide. Mishkov can’t fish it out, but he finds enough of it to find Sanheim who 
balances the blue line and sends it back down. Getty with the assist on the go-ahead goal. Here 
comes York. Sets up a shot by Couttori who scores and quickly Philadelphia adds to their lead. 
Very reminiscent of what happened last week. All of a sudden Philadelphia makes you pay. They 
did it. You mentioned in Philadelphia they make you pay quickly. Nice little move up top by York 
and he gets around Nason. But too many open lanes. Look at the quick release from Connecti. This 
might have went off Mishkoff. He might have a second goal. Kenny. He certainly provided a screen 
there in front. I don’t know if he touched it. He sure can’t get around Kenki who pokes it back 
behind the net. Forester Dylan on top of him. Shakes loose of him. Kcki with a quick shot. 
Save by Marstrom. And when they’ve had success, it’s been both games against Philadelphia.

rebound. Forester though stripped of the puck by Gritsuk can’t center. Goes off a skate. Devils 
battle for possession. Glendenning slings a shot. That’s a save by Lenar. Good strength there by 
Glen Denning. Winning a puck battle. Getting an opportunity. Ziggress off a turnover. Tippet. 
Can’t find Sanheim. And now here comes Brett. Jasper Brat alone. Shot it over the net. Hit the 
post. Hit the side of the post. So close. Here comes Tippet trying to answer. Tippet. Seagras. 
scores. What a turn of events. You come that close a post away for making it two to one or three to 
two. And then Flyers, you see right-handed shooter Owen Tippet. He gets to open up. Makes it so much 
easier to find his second opportunity. Sends it down. Devils with a twoon-one. Mercer with Heir. 
Mercer. Heir. Back to Mercer. And a slide save by Lar. You’ve got to be kidding me. Our save of the

men on the ice. Lar extends that left pad. How he’s able to go right and that’s a pretty athletic 
play. He’s had a terrific start to his season for the Flyers. And look at him do the splits. That’s 
That’s a heck of a save. I I think Mercer wanted to goes through Brat, creeps up to the blue line.

as Var had made about four or five spectacular saves prior to this and the Devils stayed 
with it. Flyers couldn’t clear. Bra just get to the net. We talked about this Bryce. 
How do you get out of these things? How do you get out of these ruts? How do you 
stop the other team from the flow and how Zabola can’t clear through Mercer? Devils 
fighting for possession. And Tippet flings it off the glass. Bouncing puck will slither 
back out to center ice. That whole sequence was all just a for check off. Mercer with

Let’s take a look at another save by Marstrom. There’s the pass and left toe save or skate

Shot save. Rebound. Meyer. Well, the Devils were on the power play and had some good looks. Nico 
kind of lost his balance. Back to five on five. Nett slings one. It doesn’t get through. Gritsuk 
back to Nemits. balances the blue line. Hughes with a shot deflects wide up the wall. Hamilton 
can’t keep Kate. Here comes Mishkoff. Mishkoff on a twoon one. He can’t get it through with the 
rebound. What a save. A huge save by Marstrom. Diggs diligently just can’t find that loose puck 
and rebound. Flyers after the penalty and they got out of the box. Go to the net. It’s blocked by 
Seanthal on a twoon one. comes right back. Rat back out to the point. Hughes. Nemits slings a 
shot that’s knocked down by Tippet. One-on-one with Hughes. Here’s Tippet. Saved by Marstrom. 
D’vorak spins it around the wall. Waiting for it. It’s Nemits on his backand taken away by 
Tippet. He’s dragged down. The Flyers will have an opportunity on the power play as the arm is up 
and they’re going to give him the goal because of the fact that he had a breakaway. Tippets going to 
get credit with a goal with 49 seconds to play. He started the scoring and it looks like he might 
have finished it. I don’t know how they how they gauged that, but it it was kind of So, the Devils 
will drop to 91 and one on home ice, ending their three-game winning streak. and now 33 and one 
in the division while Philadelphia now 50 and1.
