Carolina Panthers Just Shook Up Their Starting Lineup

All right, the Carolina Panthers shake up their starting lineup. And if you’re new to the channel, we are Detroit Lions fans, but this channel fully dedicated to teams that get overlooked by the national media. And the Panthers are one of those teams sitting there still in the playoff mix. We’ll talk about that, but they shake up their off their uh starting lineup. And take a look at this. And I’m and I’m going somewhere with this. I think it’s important is that you’ve got guys out left and right, but you’ve got Mike Jackson, you’ve got Cory Thornton. The guy in the thumbnail was Robert Rochelle that you got off the Cowboys practice squad. And I bring this up because the Lions went through something similar just a couple weeks ago where their whole secondary was all all out and they brought in the a bunch of guys, practice squad players, undrafted free agents, and those guys played incredible just because they were all playing together. This is their shot. So that level of intensity went up and it was actually a really really good thing. And so the Robert Rochelle signing here, like I said, that you saw in the thumbnail, that guy is like a good player that you get off of the Cowboys practice squad and he just has a lot of experience. He was drafted, I want to say in 2021. Yeah, 2021 in the fourth round. He was with the Rams for three years. Then he went Seahawks to the Panthers, Packers, Chiefs, Cowboys. He’s kind of been all over. And when when that happens, usually it’s like it’s you’re just good enough to kind of hang around, but it sucks when you kind of bounce around. But the the point is he has playing experience, 6 foot, 193 pounds. Keep an eye on him, okay? keep an eye on him just as somebody that again, what if what if these guys all just kind of rally around each other and can be something for for one game? And we talked about this a couple videos ago. You have two you had two tough games before your buy, which is just an incredibly late buy, but it is what it is. And it’s almost like you need the buy um at this point because it’s just how many weeks in a row are you playing, right? This this is almost too late of a buy. Everybody wants a late buy. This one seems a little late. Um because you just you needed a minute, but if you can win this week, then this buy comes at a perfect time and then you just see how the chips fall the rest of the way. But we we talked about it. You had to win against San Fran or or Los Angeles. Had to win one of those two. And if you don’t, then there’s your answer. It’s like we we’re a year away still, right? Then that’s fine. And at least we know in these last four games, whatever. It’s Tampa Bay and we’re going to try to do our best to win the division. But it’s just going to be tough. But if you could just win one of these two, then you can win the division. You can be in the playoffs. You can have a home playoff game. You have the bye-week next week to just kind of recoup. Like life is good if you can win against arguably the best team in the NFL. So that’s the that’s the challenge, right? That’s what what are we doing here? Let’s see what we got. It’s a home game. It’s We’re now into um well, not into December yet, but we’re at the end of November. We’re through Thanksgiving. This is where we find out about our team. So, I still think if you’re a Panthers fan, there’s just a lot to be there’s still a lot that you’re excited about and you you can you have hope about because you’re in the playoff mix. That’s what you want to be. You have an opportunity late in the season. And I think that’s what we’re all looking for. So, let me know your thoughts on that. I would love to know where you’re at um with the Panthers. Are you like, you know what, we’re still a year away, but at least at least we’re we were competitive this year. That’s where I was with the Lions for so long. Was like, I don’t I don’t want to win the Super Bowl. I would I do, but I just I want to be competitive. I want to have opportunities to win. I want to be in in the hunt kind of late November. Can we do that or are we always just gonna be like terrible? It’s like no, we’re we’re all right. Um offensive line is going to get rotated around again, too. That’s another storyline is you have had um 10 different offensive line rotations in 13 games this season. Brutal. Everyone’s going through it though, so it’s just And no one cares at the same time. Just no one cares. Um, and you’re going against Matthew Stafford who I mean I just I got mixed emotions as you could imagine on this guy. Part of me love him, know he’s great. Knew it. Already know he’s great and but also it’s like dude whatever. Who cares? I you’re the enemy now. Don’t don’t care about you. Um, you got you got your Super Bowl, you got all that. Get away from me. That that’s kind of where I’m at. Um, but he’s a great player and and the the Rams just play well. They’re hard to beat. Do they got Devonte Adams and Puka Nakua run the ball just well enough? Good defense. I know what What are we doing? What What are we doing? Okay, playoff pitcher. Take a look at this. Let me Let me I think this is really good to see visualize it. if you you got to win the division. And let let me just go there because forget the playoff seedings and standings. It doesn’t really matter for the Panthers. Um let let me let me show you the the NFC South. And yeah, there it is. Like I said, if you can win one of these two tough games, you go to seven and six. Go on the buy. And that’s like, all right. All right, Buccaneers. What do you got? win that division home playoff game and you’re in. And and and again, always remember what happened to the Detroit Lions last year. They got beat by a Washington team that just really had no business even being in the playoffs. Kind of get in with a rookie quarterback. see how terrible they are this year, but they get in, next thing you know, we’re out and and it so you just got to get in and and uh the Panthers have seen things enough from Bryce Young, too, to just like he could get hot. He’s good enough to do something for a minute there. It’s like, can he even play quarterback? Can he even be a starting NFL quarterback? I don’t I don’t even think he’s big enough to, you know, all those questions. It’s like, gosh, he looks so small. That’s what happened to me one time. I was playing uh threeon-ree basketball and my the my teammates, the guys I was playing with, I’m looking at them and I’m like, oh my gosh, I thought you guys were bigger than this. We got a small team. That’s how it felt with Bryce Young. It’s like, dude, I’ve all I never noticed this before, but all of a sudden, you are so small. Have you always been this small? And now it’s like, you know what? He’s small, whatever. He’s throwing it around. He’s He’s dotting people up. Like, we’re fine. It’s just funny how you look at it differently depending on, man, when he’s playing good, it’s like, dude, he’s so good. He’s so smooth. When he’s playing bad, it’s like, dude, he’s so small. He can never This is never going to work. Look at this division. It’s wide open. You have to get this win and go into the buy seven and six and then you win the division. But isn’t it weird because if you win this game, feels like you’re gonna win the division. Lose this game feels like nah, it’s over, which it’s not, but that’s how it feels.
