Falcons sign Dylan Drummond + 1 Elevation & 1 PS signing

Yo yo yo. What’s going on NFL fans? Atlanta Falcon fans, man. Y’all know it is your boy Antoine Smith. I hope y’all enjoyed y’all Thanksgiving, man. Had a wonderful weekend, man. I damn sure enjoyed myself. Food, chicken wings, lemonade, turkey, ham, dressing, all that good stuff. But football is upon us again on Sunday. Man, Bal had a couple roster moves. First of all, I want to talk about Dylan Drummond, uh, wide receiver that had pretty good preseason and he’s played in three games for the Falcons. He had his first three catches of the year against New Orleans, three catches for 18 yards. So, that means the Falcons with those three games had to sign him to a deal. So, they did and uh, it’s warranted. He had 14 catches for 96 yards in the preseason. And he’s fought his way. If you ask Kurt Cousin, these other guys, this guy was a fighter, man. He fought his way to this roster. So, uh, look, things like this happen, man. They had to do it. And I’m actually happy, man, because they need another slot guy, man, because honestly, uh, Mooney is going to be an outside guy now that Drake London is in and out the roster. He’s going to miss this game as well against the New York Jets. So, Dylan Drummond has to step in. Now, a lot of y’all have been telling me, man, but what about Chris Blair? Chris Blair had a hell of a preseason, too. 12 catches for 197 yards and two touchdowns. That’s a 16.4 average. So, why hasn’t he been promoted? Your guess good is mine. Now, which way do we go with Chris Blair? Think he’s still going to be a Pratt Squad guy. He could get called up before the year is over. That’s only if Drake London is not to go in any of these games after the Jets game. I think this is precautionary thing. He’s week to week still. Uh, and let’s see how it plays out, man. But that’s not the only news. The Atlanta Falcons also signed Khalia Kareem back to the practice squad. If you remember, he played in the game against New Orleans. Uh, and he’s been a PR squad player for the Falcon for the last two years. Uh, so they released him and they bring him back. Uh, but also another wide receiver being elevated. uh not only with them signing um Dylan Drummond, they also add um Devin Tomkins back to the uh 53 man roster as well because uh look, you know, he has game experience. He played with Tampa Bay. Y’all remember that and I remember a couple games he had a pretty good game against us, but he’s played in 30 career games. So, you know, the starting experience is there. 26 catches for 135 yards and touchdown. Uh so let’s see what his head is, man. But they add two or they add three actually. Two to elevate which you can do uh each game. Add two each game to be elevated. But like I said on the first part, if they get a third game, you have to sign him to a rostery spot. But Devin Tomkins will play in another game for the Atlanta Falcons. Let’s see how it goes. And to me, he’s a mainly a special teams guy, but he can also help in the slot. Just like I said with Dylan Drummond. But Dylan Drummer has put up, you know, better numbers in the preseason. He actually, you know, had game time. But let’s see what this brings us, man. Two receivers up. Khalia Kareem comes back. Y’all know what to do, man. Drop those comments. Let’s debate. Let’s have fun as always, man. It’s your boy Antoine Smithy Smith signing off. I will holl at y’all soon, man. Beats.

Falcons add two receivers ahead of the week 13 matchup with the Jets! Atlanta’s top receiver Drake London will miss his second straight game.

  1. Time to have the Drake London conversation. He plays tuff & takes hard hits after most catches because he fights for more yardage but his body isnt holding up to what his mind thinks. Out again Sunday, is it time for London to start runnin out of bounds & diving to the ground after catches to prevent taking hits????
