Maybe I’m being soft here but I really had a problem with the blues fan base today. Left the sourest taste in my mouth. Class act of the organization having a moment of silence before the game, however when Cooley went down I heard some of the worst stuff I’ve heard about an injured player. A man a few rows above me yelled out “pick the trash off the ice and start the game” he then got a group of kids to start chanting “utahs trash” while Cooley was still on the ground, this group cheered when he went down and boo’d when he was helped off. My kids almost old enough now he’s getting into sports and I can’t imagine him ever being excited someone got injured. I know injuries are apart of the game but to celebrate it just seems like such a low thing to do.
