NOAH OSTLUND CALLS IT IN A SHOOTOUT! | Buffalo Sabres 3-2 Win Over Minnesota Wild | Game Highlights

trip faces him after the Winnipeg Jets come to town. Nice sight to see for our viewers. Sabres would like to see that in the defensive zone. But here is Capri off far post trying to wrap it in and Ellis stretches out and got some help there as well. Sabres moving around and in the slot there’s a shot by power stop by Gustoson. Then it’s off of Minnesota skate. Minnesota moving the D around. A chance to pick it off maybe for Benson. Now Benson’s going to go to the bench on a change. Minnesota keeping it in high slot pass down low working it far post back to the left for the first one of the game as Chris off makes no mistake 1023 remaining running into it they got to move that puck to the outside a little quicker maybe power to a player off the bench in front and he’s robbed by Gustiffson Zukarella comes back to the blue line throwing it down low and you’re off trying to send it in front sabers come the other way with a three-man counter. Left side on the entry shot. Gustoson rebound. It goes to the back of the net and the Sabres have tied the game. I think Beck Menstein there is going to get this to the puck. Samson backing up the support and that allows Rasmine to get the puck to the blue line and Alex Tuck now having a little bit of trouble moving that thing out of the zone and holding with a takeaway. Scores. [Music] Power stepped up on the play. Baldi in the middle. He too backing his way in. Stays with it. So does Ellis. And what a great save on the far post. And then Minnesota skating it out. Ericson making a move. Dancing his way to the net for a pass across. And Johansson stopped by Colton Ellis. You’re off throws it down the right wing side. Out to play. It is Ellis. Alex Tuck short pass ahead. Minnesota player blows a tire and that allows the shot that goes off the glass but it bounces in. Zukarella puts this in the net I think but slides it ahead. Here’s the play at the net and Gusten fights that one off. Way we go. Savers from right to left and they do not start with possession. Shielding the puck on the backhand using the referee and turns it over. Alex tuck the other way. Right circle takes a look. He’s got Mloud in behind the net. Tries a wrap around and he’s stopped by Gustoson. He’s kind of in a bad spot. Here’s Alex Stuck coming in. He’s just looking. Hey, the pass has been favored taking this pass away. So, he feels he’s not able to get in. So, hey, why not try the wraparound? And I tell you, it came very close here. I see throws it out there and he’s looking at watch by Quinn as that puck comes up for Baldi. High slot drop pass. Sabres knock it down. Now race for it. Quinn trying to get some open ice. He’s got a break. Can he get to the puck? He does. Quinn with a shot. Gust in the save and he puts it down. But the referee blows the play dead with 206 to go in overtime. Johansson high slot shot is blocked. Favor off the wall takes the shot. Ellis with the save with 124 to go. Pounded by Krebs. Ericson to the line. One second left. Capri off hands hollowing shoot. He won’t get the shot. Three-year-old Terasenko. Same right side entry and that one off the end boards for Buffalo in across the line. Far circle now cuts in. Thompson shoots. Scores. Thompson in the shootout. Matt Bald. He’s got the puck at center. He too goes off to his right. The left for Ellis who tracks him back between the circle. Scores. What a shot. Second shot for the Sabres. He comes to the circle right side. Quinn now walks in. Hold. Scores. What a shot by Quinn. Osland at center. He’s going to take it to the left circle. Osland now cuts in backhand. Deique scores. What a beautiful goal. Noah Osland in overtime. And the Sabres pick up two points in Minnesota. Great to see the young man coming out being successful in this shootout like this. And
