2. You’re daily reminder that the deserve to win o’meter means nothing. I think it picks the losing team more then the winning team

8. I’m so glad we’ve stopped caring about this meter. I used to hate seeing it say the leafs would win 80% of the time in a 3-2 loss to Anaheim every year.

9. You know what the real “deserves to win’o meter” is? Which team scores more goals.

10. ITT: people not understanding that the DTWOM isn’t meant to tell you who is going to win the specific game played and who also do not understand probability. 

11. Now show playoff games/series. This shit never matters in the scheme of things. 

12. This meter does matter but only if you look more detailed into it. Notice how it went up when leafs got a big lead? Shows how the leafs kinda sat back and tried to keep the lead rather than generate new chances. I wouldn’t say this looks horrible on the leafs but it definitely shows how the defence gave Hildebeast too much work.

13. Leafs scored 7 because for once they capitalized on their opponents mistakes.

    OEL’s pass hit a skate and the puck just went right back to his stick at the slot. No one challenged him.

    Willy’s fake slapshot pass to Cowan created a wide open net, and Hayes did exactly nothing other than flinch.

    McMann’s was just a good tip. Those are hard to do but they go in when it happens. And it happened because Malkin lost his man.

    Joshua scored because he hit the net and he’s big. We have all been waiting for him to use his size.

    Roy was the easiest goal ever. Big open net on the PP, but it is due to Domi making that pass behind the net. Puck recovery has been a weakness for us and Domi made sure he was there before the Penguins PKillers.

    Auston Matthews. Also used Rust as a screen. This is vintage. Stopping AM requires stopping the player. Blocking the shot is usually a bad option because he knows how to use your own body against you.

    Nicky Bobby strips Dumba due to a combination of Dumba being Dumba, and the Pens pretty much giving up after Auston Matthews.
