  11. Well we’re riding in the shit hopper now and the Toddfather needs all his coaching magic to shake this team back into relevance. How these guys seem to suddenly forget how to “play fuckin’ hockey” astounds me. They just fundamentally fall apart and start playing beer league style without any idea of structure or order.

    This is a strong argument for bringing up young guys, they may suck for a while but give them 20-30 games and they will progress and get better over time – vs the vets who are already bad and are slowly eroding into the abyss

    I’d love to give Wallinder a real 15-20 game look on third pair to see if he can get better and outperform Hamonic – at this point given how Hamonic is playing it’s a good gamble to take

  15. People want trades…but we really have no one to trade right now. Nobody besides Larkin, Debrincat, Raymond, and Seider have ANY value.

  16. I wonder what it costs to get Elias Pettersson (forward) from Vancouver. This core isn’t good enough and trading for another late-30s vet isn’t moving the needle.

    It doesn’t have to be EP40, but Yzerman needs to take a risk here for the team to have any chance of improving. 

  17. Just bought tickets for my daughter and I to go to a PWHL game as one of her Christmas presents. It looks like we are Seattle Torrent fans until Detroit gets a team.
