Could the Colorado Avalanche break records this season and are they getting too far ahead?
Colorado’s being an absolute wagon right now. And I know, hey, I get why you’re talking about could they chase the Boston record of a few years ago. I love records to be broken. That’d be ridiculous. Um, I wonder though, if you’re Colorado, you say, “Man, Boston, they had 60 wins. They didn’t they didn’t get out of the first round. 2019, Tampa Bay had 60 wins. They didn’t get out of the first round.” Do we like Not that you would lose on purpose, but are you going to blow your uh your guts out to get to 60 wins and chase the record? like maybe, but I don’t like a it’s it’s pretty early. They should be hoping that Dallas stays in the hunt here, at least pushes a little bit for the Central because when you’re that talented like Colorado is, if they run away with it, you you’re going to win games because you’re so talented, but you can have bad habits creeping in your games. You you could play like you could play a game in the NHL. Like you could play a bad team game and win 5-1. Like Colorado could do that because they’re that talented. And it’s so tough for coaches, I think, to keep a pulse and keep a thumb on, hey, we got to do this, we got this. What do you mean? We’ve won seven of our last eight. Like, you know what I mean? Like, it’s a tough spot to to locate, to recognize, and to step on those things when you’re running away with their division or president’s trophy. So Colorado, I think the best thing for them is to have another team in the West looking like it’s going to be the Dallas Stars.

This is exactly what I fear as an Avs fan right now. Dont chase records. Chase the Cup!
AVS probably won't catch 60 wins cuz they can't win in OT,& shootouts.(1-6) But 1 real loss in 25 games,& on pace for 138 points is absolutely ridiculous. On pace to destroy the fewest regulation losses ever record,& maybe the most OT/SO losses ever. But if that's the worst thing about ya…means you are probably pretty ridiculous great.
So. 2013 Blackhawks dominated everyone and won the Cup with ease.
