VIKINGS-SEAHAWKS POSTGAME SHOW

Are we live? I think we’re live. Let’s go down to Romes. So, not going to lie, most of the time these postgame shows are they’ve been therapy as of late. And I don’t know like a as a Vikings fan, as a Minnesota sports fan in general thing, one of the things you always say to yourselves is it can’t get worse, right? And to be honest, I feel like this is ground zero. Like this is the nut low. This is slamming into the pavement. This is this is the end. defense played great. Gotta give them credit. But to be honest, this was the most embarrassing game the Vikings have played in recent memory. I I’m scanning my memory banks. I’m sure that there’s been some stinkers throughout the years, but in terms of actually this whole season just in terms of the expectations coming in and it’s it’s a new era with JJ McCarthy and Kevin McConnell, the quarterback whisper reigning defending coach of the year. This team won 14 games last year. And if you count the 12 games this year and the two games at the end of last year, the Lions and the Rams, it’s probably the most embarrassing and disheartening 14ame stretch in NFL history. If you combined the expectations, you combined with what happened last year, you combine with everything, and I I’ll be honest, Justin Jefferson should request a trade. And I I don’t think that there will be any Vikings fan at all with two brain cells that would blame him, right? This is not your diva attitude. This is not typical, you know, wide receiver behavior. This is Justin Jefferson is a great leader. He’s the best wide receiver in the game. He’s been very patient throughout this entire debacle. But if the Vikings don’t get concrete answers at quarterback and soon he should request a trade and I don’t think anyone in the right mind would blame him at all at all, man. Uh also we we’ll get to it, but uh it’s the last day of the uh November Fu fundraiser. We just crested our $3,000 goal uh at halftime. You guys have been awesome. I know we joke about Firecom, but this is for real. Also, was Udinsky the mastermind? I mean, you got to wonder, especially how Jacksonville is really taken off this year. Would you consider trading Kevin McConnell? I don’t think we’re at that point. But also, whether it’s Quy, whether it’s Kevin McConnell, they both got extended. Someone’s going to be thrown under the bus for this season, right? Someone’s got to be blamed. And I I I feel like it won’t be either of them. I feel like it will be assistants. And I feel like like Ryan Griggson will get fired, but we’ll see. Uh Derek Baker, OG Jerome 20 Bucks to the 2025 Vikings. Too many injured veterans. Too many young guys making rookie mistakes. Too many players in their prime underachieving. Too many too much ineffective coaching. That that’s absolutely correct. Uh Greg Olsen um you when the game was out of reach did a great job vamping about, you know, what’s going on with this team uh and whatnot. Oh, the Yeah, get get through these. the brochure. At least we have Oh, we just we just crapped out for a second. At least we have a hilarious clip that’ll play forever. Forever and ever. Here’s Bro Show with the game on the line. Yeah. Yeah. But yeah, four four picks for Brosmer. H all I see is he completed 19 of 30 passes. Also, what’s embarrassing, the Seahawks had four receptions and Seahawks defense had four receptions. Jefferson had two. Again, for Kevin McConnell being this quarterback whisperer and offensive guru, they really struggle force-feeding 18 targets, right? Every other team in the National Football League. Even if their offense is struggling, they’re able to get the ball to the number one receiver in a lot of creative ways. The Vikings do not. Uh Cutter Gallof, five Bucks. Kevin Con is a problem. He has lost a team. I believe lost a team and something this team lacks too outside of a couple of defensive players. This team lacks toughness. Yeah, they they lack grit. They lack resolve and they have had it during the Kevin McConnell regime in 2022. This team had grit. This team had fight. Last year, this team had grit and fight. Not this year. Uh retired vet five bucks. Uh I think the offense was on the field, but I think the defense played the whole game. That’s what it sort of felt like. Jake Johnson, five bucks. All right, there we go. Uh, again, it really sucks trying to follow up some of these questions because the scrolling just keeps going. How far can I go? Two bucks. Is this Kevin Quacy’s last time as a Viking? Now you although I’m not going to lie. So the Vikings collapse has been embarrassing. Lost four games in a row and lost six out of seven. God damn it. But if the Vikings crash and burn down the stretch, all bets are off. All bets are off, right? And seems like the it could be that because Jane Daniels could be back for the commies. Dallas is rolling. Giants have played better. Lions and Packers. Oh my. It may just sucks to say if this team continues to be embarrassment, I I might just skip doing the show on Christmas. Spent spend the whole day building Legos. Actually probably do that anyway. Uh Demar Bucks nine years since four game losing streak. 18 years since last time they got shut out. 24 years since the Vikings didn’t score a touchdown two games. Kevin C just went straight to the hot seat and Quy I I mean that’s fair. Now finan if Quacy and Kevin McConnell had not just signed extensions I think both of them could and should be on the hot seat. So money should not be the issue here. Basically you know a lot of people are putting the blame on Quasy at quarterback. No that was Kevin McConnell’s call right is not just going to be like hey here’s your quarterback. It’s not going to happen. And it just seems like the Vikings, every gamble that they made this year, whether it’s free agents, whether at the quarterback, whether it’s whatever, they’ve gambled and lost. It’s been it’s been tough. Uh David Ho, two bucks. Quy is DOA men player rank 99. Uh who could a B5 bucks back room has played worse than 2011’s corpse of McNab, Pond, or Web Disgraceful? And heads should roll. They should, but as we said, you know, the whole contract thing. Uh, Nigerian Prince two bucks. Every offensive snap was a kick in the nuts. That’s fair. I mean, completely wasted a great defensive effort, honestly. Like, Diamond Dallas Turner had to bust out game. Uh, Eric Wilson’s been playing his balls off. Cashman’s out there. You know, Granard, you know, back after injury and I see that. Redmond Speedy Naylor with the tackle uh force fumble and fumble recovery. Let’s go. Harrison Smith, Ryan Ry Ryan Wright’s been playing great. It sucks when your punters getting so much volume of work. Chris, five bucks. Uh Kevin Collins, blame us, but so many other problems are because of Quy Oline, Dline revamps failed, letting go Daniel Jones, Sam. Uh I I don’t know what to do anymore. Well, as we said, I mean, you can’t just put the quarterback situation on Quasy, right? Because it was a collaborative effort. I mean, Kevin McConnell, if you want his guy, go stand up. Although since uh I I I guarantee you these next couple weeks there there will be leaks, there will be backbiting, there will be cya cover your ass, you know, leaks to the media. Uh the Vikings are going to get really interesting here in the next couple weeks because there’s going to be fingerpointing. There’s going to be bike backbiting and criticism. There’s going to be there’s going to be some backstabbing going on. People trying to save their own their own butts. Uh, Chase Essex, two butts, let’s face it, the season’s over. Hope 18 stays. Well, I mean, it’s kind of over last week, but I mean, certainly over at this point. Yeah. Uh, also I owe Brick Two Bucks. Team play worse and worseer each week. How? It’s a fair question, too. And you would think that the Vikings could have built on that the momentum from the Lions win, right? going up going to win Detroit. But just eight false starts against the the Ravens, just the the embarrassing special teams coverage the last play, you know, negating the Vikings offense actually putting together a drive last time to score a touchdown, too. Packers game embarrassment just straight up and this one was somehow even worse. Yeah. Uh, Cutter Gallof, five bucks. Uh, why is Kevin Connell uh why is Kevin Connell is on a pedestal? He’s 0 and2 in the playoffs. He hasn’t proven anything. It’s fair. You know, 13 14 win seasons. Um, you know, those were obviously great, but at a certain point like more is required, more is expected. And, you know, this team, you know, we set the bar this team win a playoff game. Kevin McConnell go to the playoffs, win a playoff game. And this I Yeah. And what’s frustrating too is all the injuries. Yes. But I mean this offense is stacked to the gills and you still haven’t scored a touchdown in two games. Defensively they’re getting after things. But we’ve seen this all season. Like you’re not getting anything from the offense and the defense just wears out at the end. like they can only be on the field so long as the offense goes three and out and losing field position battles all over stuff. Uh, lo Logan two bucks. Will Will Rocker and Demand Dallas’s term gives the keys a city ATP? They’re holding up the 2024 draft class. Man, Eric Denny five bucks. The defense was the only highlight of the game. It’s going to be really embarrass leaves to be a head coach. Well, the defensive personnel will be there, but also the defensive personnel is sort of aging, right? Allan Hargra are going to be gone. AVG wrong side of 30. Gernard’s gonna be 28, I believe. Yeah, Wilson’s up there, too. Harrison’s probably gone. I mean, there’s going to be a lot of turnover on this team. Pun intended. You know, we talk about the defense. Yeah, he uh Max Nelson five needs to take a trip to Amazon with Aon and see what what he’s done. Oh, the rainforest. I I thought he’ talk about like the Amazon hub that’s in Shakipi or whatever. Yeah. Uh but basically, I mean, hey, at least Sam Darnold didn’t have a great day. Yeah. 14- 26 uh for a buck 28, four sacks, 67.5 quarterback rating. If JJ McCarthy had the stat line, people would have a stroke. Yeah. But the most embarrassing part of this is that the Seahawks and Michael McDonald, they didn’t even try to score. Like they had so many drives that they just settled for field goals. the clock management before the half because they knew like hey we had like a 16 13 16point lead this is insurmountable uh Robert Cronin 10 bucks uh we all hyped Kevin Colin up as a quarterback whisper thinking anybody can start at quarterback and we’d be successful there’s obviously not the truth now I mean that’s fair and you know part of it is you have to wonder about Kevin McConnell’s ego in this whole thing coach of the year quarterback whisperer And maybe he he was starting to buy his own brands like, “Hey, I really can have anybody a quarterback here. Hey, I I I can start a rookie and go through the growing pains, but we’ll be all right.” I don’t know. There’s a lot of uh would a could a should of this season. Certainly is. Certainly a huge disappointment. And I honestly don’t know where they go from here, right? Because honestly, like I said, if Justin Jefferson requested a trade, I don’t think anyone can blame him at this point, especially if the Vikings don’t get any answers at the quarterback spot. I I I just don’t know. Like, honestly, everything should be on the table. Quy could be fired. Kevin Okama could be fired. Flores could be elevated. Jefferson could get traded. I don’t know. But why is there so much damn drama with this team, right? Because they can’t just be average. Like they they’ve been historically bad the last two games. Yeah. Uh Cammakers two bucks. Vikings suck. Uh wh Oh my god. What the hell was this game? I hope that’s the real Cam Acres. That’d be awesome. Landon Turk 10 bucks. Why can’t Isaiah Rogers tackle? That’s a very very good point. Honestly, um if you take away the Bengals game for Isaiah Rogers, he has been very ungood this season. Uh but I don’t know, like Bros show like like we said, the bar was so low with Brosmer. Just lead one scoring drive. It’s all we wanted, right? And you know, Brosmer looked like a UDFA rookie quarterback. And you know, of course, had a little hype, had a little sizzle with him because that’s what we do on this channel. I cheer for Kell M, man. But, you know, 32.8 quarterback rating, four sacks, four picks. At least there’s symmetry there. But at the end of the day, it’s like what what do you expect? Undrafted free agent rookie making his first start against elite defense in a tough environment and Kevin McConnell refusing to run the football. Just completely leaving Bros Brown to dry. So, what 34 drop backs? 34 drop backs and then Mason and Jones had 12 carries combined. Okay. Okay. Okay. Uh who could it be now? Five Bucks Kevin kicking the field goal at the end to avoid the shut out was unbelievable. A shut out is backbreaking for morale. That’s fair. Uh especially since I mean it wasn’t like fourth and two. What was it like fourth and nine or something like that? More than that. Uh Thomas Lson five bucks. Why can’t we just have a normal year? That’s true. I get I actually kind of like that because be either really good or really terrible in in very dramatic ways and you know the fact that will the throw rocker didn’t even get a single swing at this and also bros are so the the pick six was not going to lie bad but also you’re in that spot you got fourth and one could kick the field goal sure but I I like the aggressive all but out there on a bootleg and gets blown up by Demarcus Lawrence when you could just ran it with Jordan Mason. Yeah, if you come up short, you come up short is what it is. But you you’re trusting Bros in this spot and it’s cool that he’s got faith in his quarterback. But again, UDFA first career freaking start, man. Cam Acres five bucks. We needed this, but at least it was somehow close. Uh I would have been happy. 90 field goals and St. So, if it was somewhat close, uh, I would have been happy. Oh, yeah, that’s fair. Uh, the har five bucks. I feel like the problem is beyond Kevin Khan coordinators, too. How’s Ed Ingram suddenly good? And our billion dollar O line is ass. Thank you. That’s a very good point, too. Where it’s very convenient. Everyone blames Quasy for everything. But how’s Ed Ingram showing up and showing out? How about Nan Wright? How about Mai Blackman? How about Bradberry for a little bit? How do all those guys that were cast offs from this team suddenly just balling out everywhere else? That’s a coaching issue. Uh Joseph Daily, five bucks glass diamond turner shaping up to be a stud. Uh four sacks in the last three games, two strip sacks today. I mean Turner was good also, you know, set the edge against the run against for a couple times. I I know people highlight Well, he did give up that touchdown to Charbanet. I mean, he got double teamed when he went. Yeah. I Yeah, man. Like we said, this really has mainly been therapy sessions this season, which is really unfortunate, but I mean, what do you even take away from this game? I mean, there’s really not a lot. Two of 10 on third down, 2.8 yards per pass, lost obviously lost turnover battle. All right, but ah man, at least Dallas turns looking good. And actually, the worst would have been if if Darnold came out and threw four or five touchdowns. It’s just a complete FU. Yeah, but I feel like Darnold I mean Darnold is what he is. Like he is a great regular season quarterback against bad opponents and the rest of it is sort of whatever, right? So, I I honestly don’t know where the team goes from here, right? And, you know, Kevin Kyle is to blame. Quasi is to blame. McCarthy is to blame. Bro’s to blame. The offensive line’s to blame. All the veterans they brought in for a high price, they’re to blame, too. And I I don’t think that there’s going to be like huge earth earth shaking moves, but they should be on the table at this point. I I I as a season shakes out like I I’m not sure if Kevin McConnell safe. Who knows? Who could be five bucks this game? had to underhand a pick six and a fumble and a pick recovered by the offense. That has to be the first half. Yeah, at least it was entertaining, you know. Uh Andy, you know it. 10 bucks. Someone needs to get fired for this uh for the season. Too much talent to be this record. Also, please don’t cancel Christmas show. Also, what what uh position do we draft next year wi with good pick? Al I initially read that as also what what POS piece of do we draft next year? That’s hilarious. I I don’t know. The Vikings probably floating with a top 10 pick at this point. How far can I go? Two Bucks. Which player are you looking forward to draft in 2026? I like Caleb DS. Uh although I I understand. Oh, you don’t draft a safety that high. I mean, could be our Kyle Hamilton. But like I said, what are you gonna do? And Kevin Connell certainly this is a mess. Jefferson could request a trade. This is a very dark day for Vikings fans. It’s really tough, man.
