Jovic, has deactivated his Instagram account, [presumably] amid potential hate from fans, due to a poor outing on Saturday night's game vs Detroit.

  2. Niko, undoubtedly, had a very poor performance last night. But I do think we should [collectively] be more composed when our players make mistakes, have poor performances, or cause turmoil.

  3. I was not happy with him yesterday, but I would never attack the man on his social. That’s just childish. Basketball is meaningless in the grand scheme of things.

  21. Deleting social media is honestly one of the best things you can do at this point in time. It’s a healthy decision in an increasingly unhealthy world.

    I hope Niko keeps working at it. I just know that if he keeps chipping away at it and listens to the advice from his coaches and teammates, he’ll figure it out. Keep your head up

  29. People forget he’s still a kid, mentally. I understand his difficulties getting in his own head and his game being affected so much by emotion, and if he disappoints himself by bad plays etc. nobody should be treated the way he has been, but unfortunately that’s how professional sports works. The “fans” don’t care about the players and they’re only measured by performance alone and if you don’t measure up, the “fans” will eat you alive. They don’t think of them as real people with real issues, etc. it’s sad. 

    Niko set very high expectations for himself this year and him not meeting them is just crushing the poor kid. Unfortunately at the highest level of the sport, you gotta handle business. I don’t know how these 18-24 year olds do it. When i was their age, I was a joke of a man.

    P.s. I think he looked happiest and most confident next to Joker in euro. I’m just assuming, but I think Denver with Joker next to him (joker loves him!) would be so good for him and the league. I’m still hopeful he develops here, but if he does get moved, I’d feel good about him going there. Considering how well they’re doing, I don’t think they’d be super interested, but I imagine joker has a lot of pull over there. Kinda like how I’m happy Duncan ended up on such a solid team instead of like, Washington.

  32. It’s been deactivated since Thursday. I was looking for his instagram and could not find it even though I know I follow him. So not exactly due to last night and people sending hate its probably just him taking a break from social media in general and concentrate for a while. If people are DMing him hate tho that sucks and doesn’t deserve that over a bad performance in a basketball game

Is it so hard to say “damn he kinda sucked but i hope he gets better.” or simply move on with your night?

  36. So many people even in here are hating on him. He played awful last night and overall has been bad this season. But then if you listen to Spo’s interview last night he said Jovic will be fine and he believes in him. Our fan base smh

  39. same I was absolutely mad and angry at the way he played.. but nothing personal, feel he is a decent guy and a decent human being. As a fan yes always want my team to get that dub.. but never should as a fan attack players personally. After all it’s still just a game

  49. I deleted twitter today because I’m sick of Heat fans, can only imagine it being a million times worse for the players. Heat fans be better, you’re way to self entitled for people who do literally nothing of importance.
